oh he definatly needs to get back into condition. don't forget, he did nothing for 3 weeks...not much for me and you, but huge for a trained athlete.

I think he is Minimum two weeks away and probably more like three.

We might get him for last week of season.

We are in the Hunt. Getting Toots, Hossa and Shanny back woud be a shot in the arm.

Although we lost tonite, we are hanging in there. Need two points against Atlanta on Friday.

This is great news. Great to hear him with Trautwig say he was skating into the boards and glass.

True enough....but he has already stated he did 30 mins on the cycle Monday, so his conditioning is there,he'll stay on top of it now, its just trying to get his timing back that will take a while

Shanny isn't ruling out playing next week and was cleared for full practice.

Next week?!!

Great the rangers need him...

And hey we all know how he gets into these hot streaks, how he started this year and how he usually starts seasons... on FIRE. Hopefully this injury will be like a mini-offseason for him and he'll get his wind back quickly and come back and lead this team like he can.

Help is on the way!

Then if the Rangers can hang in there, theyll get Tyutin back and then Hossa, and Rachunek later on for the end of the season. Hopefulyl it all falls into place at the right time and none of them come back with less confidence.

Wow, he seems to be making a very quick recovery for a pretty major injury...haven't had a lot of those over the past few years.

Its a go!

Oh yeah that reminds me.. My little brother and big brother spoke with John Gianonne. He said Shanahan should be back next week.

He also said how Sean Avery hates colored people and french canadiens.

No joke. I waited for Lundqvist to come out after the game. Then John came out and they spoke with him (and we also got Lundy to sign my little brothers hat)

John Gianonne actually said that Sean Avery "hates colored people and french canadiens"?

That was a complete "rumor" and not proven.

Lets not accuse him for something that a goon from another team said.

Sorry, I think I misread Fatal's post. I thought he was claiming that JG said those things to his brother...but he was actually questioning the validity of his Shanny timeline.

John Gianone spoke with both of my brothers and wasn't afraid to tell them anything. Whether it was cursing or talking about the players. I am just posting what my brothers heard John say. Sorry for the misunderstanding we can get off of that topic now.

Yes it would...considering the team has circled Mon. and Wed. as possible return dates. But it would definitely be a nice St. Patty's day surprise to see Shanny step onto the ice at the Garden tonight!

Totally agree. How high do you think the roof of the garden would jump if Shanny came out?

The place would just go freaking nuts. Talk about an emotional boost for the team.

Even if he isn't totally 100 % ready for game action. I think his presence alone will invigorate this team in need of invigoration.
