Why can't he scratch Isbister, geez, he does nothing for the team, Dubinski is good on Faceoffs, plays a tough game, even though he has no points, he has generated offense and created room for his linemates, as well as setting them up. Renney is the worst coach in the league, look at the Devils rookies playing their first game the other night getting 15 minutes of ice time each, Dubinski gets 5 minutes. If he was on the Debbies he would be getting about 16 minutes. Shows you the ignorance of Renney

I can't even defend Renney on this one. This is a farce. The kid does nothing but impress every time he hits the ice. And, he sits for any one of Orr, Hollweg and/or Ortmeyer. Just a friggin' joke.

Wow...management keeps this up they'll discourage all the young players. They're sending the message that even if you play well, you're still getting sent down.

Does this have anything to do with Shanny being activated? Mmmm Mmmmm me guesses so.

What about Strudwick clearing waivers?

could it have something to do with the "emergency call up" that Sam mentioned?

With Hollweg back, someone had to go to HFD. This isn't entirely bad. Maybe they want to see if he can take his new found confidence down and be dominating in the AHL which could be good from a developmental POV (?). Plus, this does mean that Callahan stays up. Isbister? Well, you know Renney has a hard-on for him. He's got the Hossa-Syndrome for Brad. "If I can turn one player around that everyone's given up on, I can turn the all!"

WOW I HAVE STUCK BY RENNEYS SIDE ALL YEAR but this is just ridiculous. How dumb can you possibly be???? This makes no sense at all. I am disgusted by this move. And now Straka leaves the game with a knee injury, but I guess having Colton Orr in the lineup is more important than Dubinsky filling in at center. F you Renney.

Yea someone had to go, but it certainly shouldn't have been the guy who gave 110% and arguably had the best scoring chances with hardly any ice time. Why does Callahan get preference over Dubinsky because he scored more in the AHL? Dubinsky has been far and above Callahan in their few games in the NHL. The kid's got speed, size, hustle, he hits, he creates chances, he steals the puck. Why do moves like these only seem to happen with the Rangers.

Orr, Hollweg, Betts, Isbister should all be scratched over Dubinsky at this point. This is RIDICULOUS.

He looked great last night...I don't understand the move....Not with Isbister (who can't finish) and Orr in the lineup...

With Straka injured Dubinskys stay in Hartford SHOULD be very short.....

I don't understand...

Isbister in the lineup either. And if he is in the lineup, I don't understand Isbister with Jagr.

People should relax. Dubinsky needs to play alot. He looks good but will get better. Giving a player a taste is good, the Rangers have done this alot with their younger players.

Dubinsky will be up for good at some point but probably not this year. One full year in the AHL will not hurt him. Dubinsky needs to show more of a scoring touch. He can develope this in the AHL. He is far from a finished product, which is a great thing.

I agree. Isbister has the hands of Hollwegg..

Dubinsky will be back Monday because there is no way Straka is playing...

Agree on Straka not playing.. Dubinsky is very likely.

My opinion on him being sent down is that they probably were honest when they told him he'd likely be up for only a couple games regardless of what he does to get a feel for the NHL.

Why are people getting mad at Renney? The Rangers weren't allowed to keep him up.

And remember, Isbister was left off of the Hartford active roster. I don't beleive he can be sent back down.
