I turn the Canada game to see Schenn firing away shots in the slot on the PP. They had him playing where Hartnell plays for us.

He hit the post on one of them.

And scored one from there earlier in the tournament. If B Schenn took all of Hartnell's minutes (LW for G at ES and 1st PP duties) he would out produce Hartnell handedly IMO and I really like Hartnell.

I'm just seeing the Abdelkader hit now, that might have been a good hit in football a few years ago.

I've been adamant in support of Schenn taking Hartnell's spot on the first powerplay unit for a while now. Hopefully Berube and Hextall are paying attention.

It's not the first time we've seen that.

Read and Turris look really good together. They've been playing together at ES and on the pk (they each have a SH goal with the other getting the primary).

Schenn has been really good in his own zone this tournament.

That softie may end up costing Canada the game.

Can't Schenn learn to go into the boards NOT head first?

Dito.
I thought Coburn looked outstanding despite playing with Myers.

I didn't watch this last game, but Schenns been really good so far in the ones I did see. He's been good at even strength while playing with people who aren't horrible at 5v5 and good on the PP in the slot, basically everywhere he would be if he replaced Hartnell like he should. I'd also like to point out that I've specifically noticed him winning a LOT of his faceoffs.
