Tokarski was awesome. I was not happy when they put him instead of Budaj in last game and thought he was partly (but definitely not totally!) responsible for the loss, but tonight he was incredible and they likely did the good choice to go forward with him in the series. He totally deserved the win. Not sure the rest of the team did, but Rangers sure got a lot of things going their way too tonight, and man do I hate the refereeing since the beginning of this series...
Glad to see Galchenyuk score the OT goal too, even though he nearly did it with his face.
Good play from Plekanec, but a good play doesn't mean he is amazing. He made so many mistakes this series. He has to be more consistent.
He's been one of the best forwards on this team until the past 4 games. His play over the past 4 games has been mediocre to bad, and he deserves criticism for it. If we lose this series, his play will have been a big part of that.
However, saying nonsense about him never showing up in the playoffs when he is one of the reasons we are in the ECF, and pointing out +/- like you are patofqc, that isn't criticism, that's emotional drivel.
The fact that all three of our top 3 centers, regardless of what order they go in, seem to take turns sucking, and the fact that it seems to hurt the most when Plekanec doesn't show up is telling. Right now I'd rather see Eller out there in the last few minutes.
