I'm afraid we would let this one go... No Starka, no Hossa, no Shanny, no Toots, no 2nd PP unit. Let's hope for the best i.e. Penns will not show up, Dubi will have hat-trick, etc.

I'm rather "eh" about Strudwick playing, but hopefully some time on the larger ice surface helped improve his footspeed. He might be the only guy slower than Malik out there, but hopefully he's ok...

But...how does this all work with the emergency recalls and stuff like that? Say if the Rangers send Liffiton back down (assuming Straka comes back on Wednesday along with Shanahan) does he count as the emergency callup? Allowing the Rangers to keep Callahan and Dubinsky up?

I'm wondering if that's one reason they're working the lineup the way they are, but I'm purely guessing.

this is going to be a REAL tough game, Pittsburgh is red hot, and despite our blowout win the fact is we still have a plethora of injuries. i want 1 point min, and NO injuries.

Deal. I'll be giving Callahan extra attention tonight, I missed most of the Bruins game the other night. But then again I don't remember much of that night. That was St. Patty's day right?

Good luck tonight. This is a big game for both teams and their playoff possibilities.

Here's to an injury-free, well-played, well-officiated game won by the good guys!

I think there will be a lot of serious, and legitmate questions about M-A Fleury's skill level and ability to compete in the NHL after tonight

I'm still recovering from the shock of watching the Rangers play their last 2 periods with a relaxed "wow, we're definately, really, seriously, no questions about it, going to win this game" feeling, for the first time in God knows how long.

Let's hope we do it again tonight. STAY OUT OF THE BOX!!!

Go Rangers!

Rangers have a good opportunity tonight at home...

Pittsburgh is 7-0-1 in their last 8, and have played 5 games in 7 days!

You would think they would have to lose eventually, this seems like a perfect scenario.

Pens don't have franchise center Dominic Moore, that should seal a win for us.

We are guaranteed at least a point tonight.

I have an early class tomorrow, and OT will mean I miss the earlier train, which is what always happens when I have early class.

Hopefully we convert on the second.

3-2 rangers in a shootout.

I didn't get that feeling until 5 minutes remained in the game and even then I kinda worried.

I never feel good about these Pen games cause we always end up f'ing them up despite being the better team for most of the game. 50/50 chance tonight.

Here's to hoping MAF has one of his usual inconsistent as hell games and we end up taking advantage

My optimistic prediction = 4:2 Rangers
