Defenitly not, Roszival plays it perfectly stepping up on Malkin.

If we are gooing to play a trap like the 2-2-1, all guys got to have their position. Jagr blew his.

Our RW got allot of defensive responsibilitys. Its a weakness to have JJ their. So I guess we can expect things like this to happend, but Roszival made a scholl book play stepping up on Malkin

I didn't see him lightly skate back. I assumed he hustled but just couldn't get there. Need to see a replay.

Nice to here man. I totally agree on Betts, he's gets pushed around here sometimes, but he really is a good guy to have on a team. You never see him take a shift off thats for sure.

I was kind of upset at Jagr because it was clear that it was his assignment, but that is something that is going to happen from time to time with him... Thought Pock could have made a better decision on his play. With Jagr though, he makes up for it in other ways and the numbers show that. Something that we gotta live with.

anyone know if Prucha got hurt??? His low ice time makes me think maybe he got hurt and OLN forgot to mention it. No way Orr should get more ice time than Prucha in any game

I didn't think the Rangers laid down and played for the point, they were in control for the final 3 minutes of the game.

And the goal might have been prevented, but credit has to be given to the skill (or luck if you will) of Malkin and co. to make the difficult pass and for the deflection to go right on the guy's stick.

I don't know, in watching the replay, the coverage on Jagr's side of the ice was fine. My problem wasn't Roszival stepping up on Malkin, it was what he did afterwards... which was absolutely nothing. In other words, the problem with the play didn't even happen on Jagr's side of the ice, it happened on the opposite.

He wasn't hurt. Renney just didn't want to play him.

Nice win, of course I really wanted that shutout for Lundy.

That would've been 5 which I believe is the record shared by Richter and Dunham (in his half season of career play).

The goal they gave up in the third they got sloppy but they didn't crumble which is perhaps even more important.

At the end of the day the Pens should beat the Rangers, but the Ranger outshot them and deserved the win.

None of my talk about Roszival or the Rangers playing for the point detracts anything from how excited I am that the Rangers won the game.

Ecstatic might be the best way to describe it!

I didn't think Pock was that bad. He maybe coulda gone down to a knee on the Pens goal, but that's nitpicking. That was Rosie's fault, IMO.

Cally is the real deal. He may top out as a third liner, but he'll be a helluva third liner.

it's evident Cally is feeling confident, he had some nice moves out there and was confident with the puck. hoping after Dubi gets his first he'll exhibit the same confidence Cally is...

Guess not. Then again I've never been partial to Rosival, he is way too careless out there.

I love how this team is battling every single night. Not using the recent rash of injuries as an excuse, just going out and outworking teams. This team is alot of fun to root for right now, especially with the influx of youth through the roster. Keep getting points boys!!!

LETS GO RANGERS!!!!

I'm as ecstatic as anyone with the win, but Prucha's 7.5 minutes was something that I frowned at. I noticed from the middle of the second period on that he was not getting a regular shift. Honestly, although Isbister did some good work down low in the corners, I think Prucha should play left wing on that line.
