Come on Habs win this series! I'm probably rooting for you guys as much as you guys are rooting for yourself . I don't know what I would do to myself if the Rangers won the cup.

Certainly the biggest game of my life. I'm already nervous, antsy, excited, anxious, you name it.

Just ****ing win. The Rangers are going to be playing extremely hard, but if we can come out quick and maybe put one past Lundqvist early I like our chances. I was at Game 4 and after we scored the crowd was completely out of it both times. We can do this. Let's bring it back home.

GO HABS GO

The Rangers exploit the Habs' weaknesses well. I truly have no idea what to expect going into this game. The Canadiens have not played well in NY in my opinion. We'll see how tight they play away from the puck tomorrow. That will be key.
I think for the habs to be successful in new York, they are going to have win a low scoring game... Something like 2-1, because I'm expecting lundqvist to have a big game. This means that tokarski needs to have his best game yet.

Funny that I was watching that's hockey, and Dave Reid said the exact same thing, that the habs need to win a 2-1 type of game in new york

I'm excited, but not very optimistic. Margin for error is going to be very small here.

That.

I do have a good feeling about game 6. Rangers have their back on the wall. They can't afford to lose that one. It's like game 7 for them, but it's not really game 7, so it works to our advantage.

And, two very important concepts:

Go

Habs Go

Can't make any predictions. This is gonna be a heck of an important game, hope it's not decided by any odd bounces or nothing.

Oh boy... The pressure is untenable.

I was thinking the same but this would have been more likely with a proven goalie like Price. However, anything can happen, Tokarski has been surprising. We got this. GHG.

SI Jinx will be alive and well

2012 bounced in Eastern Finals after Hank was featured and 0-1 since the new one came out

I think Habs show up tonight - i think chucky and Bjork getting hot helps out guys like gally and patches- i just hope that tokarski has a big game. It will be a very difficult game to win and we'll need Tokarski matching Lundqvist.

I don't think you have to worry about but the cup part.

That goes for the habs too. If the kings advance, the only trophy that an eastern team will be hoisting is the prince of wales.

The hawks should dispose of the east as well, but I'll give the either team an outside shot against them. If its the habs, the outside shot only qualifies with an able Carey price.

I agree with you on the Price thing but Devils supposedly had absolutely no chance against the Wings in 95 and they swept them in 4

Quick has been very sporadic these playoffs, when he's on he's on but when he's off he's been very beatable - same goes for Crawford

Feel like Montreal will be great to start the game and the Rangers Nervous.
Feel like the Rangers are gassed
Hoping this is one of those games where we are leading 2-1 and score with 4 minutes left!

I also wonder about the Rangers mentality I think we have gotten under their skin and they have lost some focus which is hurting them

You enjoy that nail biter, my doctor said I can't take anymore of those games so I'm hoping to be up by a touchdown at the half

That SI cover makes me want to puke. Who the hell anointed them lovable underdogs? The headbutting committee of america? I hope the curse is alive and well.

First game I'll be missing. Last time that happened in the playoffs was gm6 against boston in 2004. It was a road game and I vaguely remember Theo having a great game (or was that gm5?). Anyway, we won, so bodes well. Please please please win Habs!!! Keep the magic rolling.

DD line - make some magic. You still owe us.

I wonder what the lines will be tonight. I'm guessing;

Patch-DD-Gally
Chucky-Pleks-Gio
Vanek-Eller-Bourque
Bournival-Briere-Prust

They have 8 points combined in the past 4 games. Just an FYI.

Gionta needs to step up more than anyone. He's got 7 points in the playoffs.. our captain needs to be a leader and lead us to victory.
