GDT | Rangers vs Flyers | 3/21/07 | MSG 7:30

My first GDT ever!

These Flyers are coming off a loss last night at home against Florida, and we should be able to add to the mess that is their team tonight at home..

Shanny returns tonight! (hopefully)

i always thought this photo was awkward and funny, and was very excited when i saw it on the Rangers site in the summer.. hopefully it will help bring back the excitement and the early season touch to his game!

haha, that picture of shanny is a photoshop job by the NYR in the summer. Its J-Ward's body with Shanny's head, with the helmet color changed.

None-the-less, its a great picture!

Big game boys, lets get 2.

Live stream from Comcast for out-of-market fans:

This is one of the few games I can actually watch on TV, though I'll probably miss most of the 1st period for a night class.

I think Shanny took that pic in a photoshoot after he signed. However, he did it against a white background, so it was photoshopped to be in an arena, but it looks so bad because they didn't cut him out properly, plus Shanahan is posing and smiling while posing as if he's skating around.

Because they know I have to go to the store and hit the gym after work, so they gave me enough time to do all of that and still catch the beginning of the game.

Me and Gary are like this.

I think its Strudwick (kind funny its brought out now, because he's back) - hes lefty and number 24. Ward wouldnt have his right arm that high up cause hes righty.

Jagr said he thought Shanny and Straka, should both be back for this game so here's to hoping. Personally I'd sit Straka for a few, so that the shoulder can heal, but we'll see.

We must win these two games against this team! As long as we don't get sloppy or overconfident we've got em. Play them like they have the best record in the league -as we should be playing every team at this point.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't screw this one up.

sam said that straka practiced but felt his knee wasn't strong enough yet...if you are going to sit him, this is the game too

Maybe if Renny rolls 4 lines all night. I think its more likely we see this.

Isbister - Nylander - Jagr
Shanny - Avery- Callahan
Prucha - Cullen - Orts
Dawes - Betts - Orr

Gagne, Upshall and Richards are all out....

As for the forward being out...More then likely it's the battered and bruised Hollweg..Hope not though..His forechecking, hitting and speed is becoming a bit more important..But we do need him for the next 10 games..Just hope that Recchi hit didn't injure him too much..
