Ranger @ Knicks game tonight

I normally don't really post that often, but I went to Knicks game tonight and sat directly behind Colton Orr. He was a great guy, very approchable and personable. It was clear that he really loves being a Ranger, we discussed our equal hatred for the Islanders which was quite funny. Also, Sean Avery sat courtside next to Messier the whole game, they seemed to be talking throughout. I talked to Avery after the game for about 20 seconds and he too seemed like a great guy, also very personable.

Good stuff. This seems like a team full of genuinely good guys which makes me want them to succeed even more.

They could've used Orr at that Basketball tournament the other night at MSG.

I'm surprised the Rangers would support the Knicks given how they pretty much sabatoge our media attention.

Based on the 1 Knick game I went to, can I assume that the Rangers go a lot ?

The game I went to Lundqvist, Shanahan, and Malik were there.

Haven't all of you heard Dolan requires his employees to fill the empty seats at Knick games!

I went to a clutch concert last nigth at irving plaza and had my ranger hat on, one of the employess came up to me and asked if i was a ranger fan so ofcourse siad yeah, die hard, anyway he told me Ryan Hollweg was on the second floor in VIP,whihc is where I was 2nd floor, just not VIP, I couldnt get in close enoughto the VIP section, if so I could have seen in, it was just like a rope with a couple security guards, im sure he was probably with a couple other NYR's as well.

Figured i would just mention it since this thread was started.

ah, makes sense that Bam Marg--i mean Ryan Hollweg would be at that kind of a concert.. seems like he'd like metal..

(is it just me or does Hollweg not look eerily similar to Bam Margera?)

very quick display:

another side note: when i looked up ryan hollweg on Google Images, 75% of the pictures tagged were actually Chris Simon.. blech..

thats pretty cool. I'm suprised that the Rangers are able to play as "well" as they do every night. If I were a pro athlete in the city, I'd milk it for all its worth. I'd probably be too hungover to play half the time.

We battle basketball for media attention.
I dispise the Knicks if no other reason than they being our winter counterparts get the back page when we deserve it.

the fans dictate who gets the most attention

and if you want to blame someone, you are much better off blaming the media.. damn the knicks for wanting to be successful like any other organization
