OK updates are in. "stats and stuff" from the preds website are now open. i also broke down and combined some images at the top. so that allowed for some subtle changes elsewhere. i have removed the links at the bottom to the teams websites. those can now be accessed by clicking on the rotating logos via the stas tables. the exception is that the rotating logos under the radio announcers will still take you to the NHL feed page. i also replaced jim with jeremey on the announce team as i haven't heard jim call a game in a while. will change it back if he starts calling them again.
tonights refs - chris rooney and rob schick
linesmen - jay sharrers and dereck nanson
by the way how are the Kootenay Ice doing this year?
The Ice had a great year..finished the season wth a 49-17-3-3 record, third overall in the WHL and a franchise record 49 wins.
They now face the Calgary Hitmen in the first round of the play-offs..should be a humdinger of a series.

Nice!
This is a great time of year
You've got the Ice and Vancouver playing great
I'm enjoying Nashville's success
I'm patiently waiting to see if the Sarnia Sting can actually get out of the 1st round of the playoffs for the 1st time
and the Midget team I coach is 1 win away from an All-Ontario OMHA Championship
the province preview page listed mitchell and salo as day-2-day(doubtful on my listings). do you guys have some better inside skinny? if so i will move them to the out section.
Doubtful is probably close enough. Radio interviews with Mitchell / Vigneault have all but confirmed both are out for tonight and will be back Sunday against the Avs. Salo is out tonight for sure, I gues there's like a 1% chance that Mitchell might suit up but he's likely out for tonight too.
Glad Sullivan is out for this one, he always seems to burn us late in games.
No doubt.
Sullivan is a straight-up Canucks killer. Though I'm sure he's a pain in the side to a bunch of teams in the league, it seems like he scores particularly painful goals against us. I also recall Erat forcing me to lose some hair the past few seasons.
This is going to be a really tough game to get a point in. Not only is Luongo awesome, the Sedins will give us fits.
Our forward line up looks terrible right now with the injuries + suspension.
If the Predators escape with a point somehow it will be considered a victory.
The Sedins have done nothing against the Preds this season IIRC...
good luck in the game though... the Preds really had a great season and are now considered legitimate top end contenders for the Cup...
good to see though that with a canucks regulation win tonight, they could be only 4 pts back of the mighty Preds, and the 1st overall spot!!!
the Preds have owned us this season though... and with the canucks best shutdown dman out, as well as another key top 4 guy, I don't see a win tonight for the canucks.
the key for the Canucks is going to be limiting penalties.
Our defensive depth is pretty weak right now. Bieksa and Ohlund are both top pairing defensemen, but Sopel and Krajicek were exposed last game a bit because of overuse. Fitzpatrick is a decent fill in, and Edler is a rookie who is prone to rookie mistakes.
I think this is going to be pretty low scoring.. expect the Canuck forwards to be overly defensive.
