Forsberg got the puck, and had Markkanen out of position, looked like he was going to jam it in, instead it slid over to Radulov, who popped it in.

God damn I'm loving Forsberg when he actually passes to someone that has hands.

Nice goal by Weber.

OK 20 min PK here we go. really home we actually put the foot down rather than easing off in the 3rd. play to win don't play not to lose.

My thoughts exactly. Don't give away 2 points like we did in Calgary on Thursday.

Hey, if it wasn't for the fact that you guys lost Smyth this year, I wouldn't feel sorry for you guys like I do, since I am also a Dallas Stars fan, but Nashville first and foremost if I had to choose just one.. You guys lost a lot when he got traded. I hope you guys are able to regroup and come back strong next year.

Good game all around boys. We needed this. Bring it on home and continue it again on Tuesday against Edmonton again.

So we finally get on Hockey Night in Canada as the late game and there is no 'After Hours' show? B. S.

Nice passes by Forsberg. Good timing on all the goals. They just sucked out any life Edmonton was starting to gain.

There's a good chance Weber could reach 20 goals this season!

Vokoun didn't have to make too many difficult saves but he definitely made some big ones when we needed them.

I think everyone played well. A few brain freezes but overall a good job by all.

Good to get the 2 points and come back with 3 from this trip. Guys looked like they were having fun out there.

5 in a row at home now, time to separate ourselves from that "Red" team.

Janessa's Drunken and Exhausted recap:

First off, great night to be in Edmonton. Weather is gorgeous and we're staying a block and a half from an LRT station.
Spent 3 hours making signs. "KEVIN LOWE I'M A DEFENSEMAN" and "NHL HOCKEY, CLEARLY BETTER CONTENT." Supposedly we got on CBC from a text we got. Go us. The Edmonton Gestapo camera people wouldn't let us on the big screen. Jackasses.

Got to the Arena and since we had club passes got to go underneath and wait for the players to come out. Saw Thorsen run around for warmups and saw Kariya, Forsberg and Arnott poke their heads out a few times. Anyway, had great seats in a great section with great fans.

So we get to the warmups. Got Mason's attention by yelling "Mase, great game against the Shames." At least got a reaction. He turned, raised an eyebrow and grinned.
Tried to get Kariya and Forsberg's attentions...(after I was told that Forsberg had torn an ab muscle during the Shames game. I was THRILLED to see him playing.) they just ignored me. Probably a good idea. Weber skated to the bench and I yelled at him about Kelowna and he laughed. Made a comment to Hordichuk about his hometown. (I grew up 20 minutes away from it.) He's a great guy and he snickered.

The Preds just OWNED the Oilers up until the last 2 minutes of the third where all of a sudden the Oilers decided they wanted to leave with some dignity. Too late.

Kariya and Sykora kept talking on the faceoff. Once Sykora pointed something out to Kariya who promptly stepped in front of Sykora and landed him on his ass.
He also went into the scrum at the end of the game like a madman. My friend and I were laughing so hard. The guy beside me goes "TAKE 'EM KARIYA!"
The hit that he took from Smith was AWESOME! All of a sudden he looks up and you can TELL he goes "aww crap." and just waits for the hit and then gets up.

Afterhours isn't on because of the World Curling championships.

Okay, I'll update the actual game tomorrow instead of my Kariya stalking...er watching. But it's 1am here and I had 9 beer.
