Habs 100 year anniversary.

Hey guys, might be a dumb question, but Habs 100 year anniversary is for season 2008-2009 or 2009-2010? I'm on the reserve list (#638) for 2 extra season tix and I wonder if I will get them in time for the big anniversary.

I'm pretty sure it's 08-09. Don't quote me on this though.

I believe they'll be celebrating it during the '08-'09 season.

Sweet, just enough time to have Lats and Laps on the first line!

if Lapierre is our 1st line center in 2008-09, we can forget the playoffs, we'll be in trouble.

I like Lapierre, but he's not a first liner...

I believe the official anniversary is in december 2009, so it would make the official celebration season the 2009-2010 season. I'm not sure though...

What they might they is celebrate the 100 years from january to december 2009, so it would be over two hockey seasons.

Canadiens anniversary is December 4 1909 so officaly we can say that the 2009-2010 season is the anniversary season. but the all-star game will be in janurary 2009 (in 2008-2009 season) and the draft (not confirmed yet) is suposse to be in june 2009 (after the 2008-2009 season)

I thing the game of December 4th 2009 (will be the game 100 for the colletion tikets, for season tickets holder) will be very special !

All the official ceremonies will take place through the year 2009.
Meaning: 2nd half of 08-09 campaign and 1st half of 2009-10.

all star game january 2009
Draft is scheduled for june 2009

and so on.

God lol. If Latendresse or Lapierre are on the first line in 2008, then Bob would of been fired.

Latendresse is a good second line winger that's strong along the boards, but no 1st-line material in a strong team (What we will be with our giant promising prospect pool).

Lapierre is gonna be something like Laperrière, nothing more. But I like him, he has some 'Ruutu' in him. Smiling at everyone

You forgot Cup parade June 2009; after all 2009 when Bob's "plan" is to have been fulfilled and the Habs are once again consistently atop the NHL
