Met some die hard habs fans from nova scotia who came down, bough tix and NYR jerseys because they dont want to see LA win and were rooting for the rangers. Such amazing die hard hockey fans, who just love and enjoy every second of the game itself. God I wish hockey was that important here.

Expect heightened security end ice at the 8th avenue end. Someone got clocked and knocked out during last night's game and needed CPR.

I expect them (MSG Men In Black) to handle crowds differently tomorrow.

Cheers!

Do you know roughly what section? There was an incident with about 5 minutes left in the third in 222 that had a ton of security and a few ejections.

It was behind the 8th Avenue Goal.. I'd say 218 or 219.. The incident occurred well before the 3rd period. I was returning to my seat when I noticed it.

I got into a fight with security after 2 periods last night. Im in the blue seats and was walking up pretty mad and i kicked the garbage and yelled F in anger. ANd 3 security guards swarmed me and flipped on me and asked to see my ticket and slightly ripped it as a warning. I yelled back at them and we went at it but then I walked away. Listen say whatever you want, im a 23 yr old guy sitting in the blue seats, alot of money and passion and intensity goes into my season tickets and love for this team. I wasnt the only one. Other fans were actually cheering me on. Apparently its this same fat glasses wearing security guard that attacks a bunch of blue seaters. Maybe hes an isles fan idk, another security guard was talking to me after and said he wish he could have a beer with me. Every guy is diff, but in the blue seats youre trying to make it like golf. cmon. Have a damn pulse of the fan up there.

What happened in 222? I sit in 223 and didn't notice anything in that section. There was a guy in 224 who had an air horn and got kicked out for that.

I have gotten into it with a few security guards over the years. I have very little respect for them, and find them to be a bunch of clowns.

Has anyone gotten appointment times for relocation/adding seats yet? I think it's supposed to happen starting the 16th. Hopefully it'll be delayed because we'll still be playing...

My bad. It was 224. They kicked those guys out for the airhorn? There were so many guards, I thought something terrible happened.

prices starting to roar back, I just sold three 400's for $750 each. Would have been lucky to get $450 just 24 hours ago

The curtains behind the nets on the 8th floor (200's) were pulled closed for Game 4. There was a man in black behind each curtain (at least on the 8th ave end) asking you to move if you did not have a ticket for that section. If you were waiting for a whistle to get to your seat you were okay, but no loitering. They were all about crowd dispersal tonight. Expect the same for Monday.

You can no longer stand behind the goals on the 8th floor and watch the game should you choose to buy a "get-in-the door" ticket.

Maybe they will forget by spring. All it took was some dumb a$$ to ruin standing room....

Cheers!
-Doug

Kings fan, about 6'3" 20 years old, had a cut on the bridge of his nose and an eye swollen shut. Behind him was a 40ish NYR fan about 5'7" telling security that he doesn't fight except when someone comes at him. I'm sure they're both happy with their purchase of a ticket to the first period...

(This was game 4)

And where was this sad display of behavior on display?

Cheers!

I want to say around 226-227, or at least that's where I saw them being escorted out.

Was this in section 227? I heard some Kings fan got punched and there was blood on the floor. Didn't see it happen though.

Not advising anyone to gamble but me personally, i want to guarantee myself some cash so I will be placing a bet on LA tomorrow night. If they win it makes up for some lost profits on game 6 and should NYR win thats even bigger bonus.

Steep odds at -170. $1700 to win $1000?

I dunno man, I've thought about it even before you posted that and I don't think I'm going for it. The hedge isn't all that appealing. I have about $4K net on the line for a game 6. If I put down $2K on LA for game 5, I make $1176 net if the Kings win, but if the Rangers win I get a 2000 haircut and walk away with $2K instead of $4K. I'd rather roll the dice, collect the full amount not to mention go to the game and watch the Rangers take this back to LA

I wont go that big at all maybe bet to win 300 or 400. I wouldnt hedge it 50% like you were thinking. Just a small sprinkle in case LA does win but obviously id make a ton more should nyr win

If I were to hedge, I'd do it so I'd make no profit on a Rangers win, and stand to win big on a Kings win. I think of it as happiness insurance. I get paid out if I spiral into depression.

Nothing official yet but I talked to my rep at the game last night (first time in 20 years!, no kidding) and she told me it was going on as scheduled. Apparently they are getting a lot of traffic on new season tickets because of the deep playoff run.

Are they adding more seats? Because they can't really accommodate too many more NEW season accounts.
