tyutin and hossa's comeback

lol, with the way rangers have been rolling, wouldn't those guys coming back hurt instead of help?

Just makes us even more dangerous!

(Did you ever imagine you'd be able to say that about Marcel Hossa?!)

Toots coming back will definitely be a boon, but it'll be interesting to see where Hossa fits in. I like how Callahan has been playing, and I think it'd be a shame for him to be the odd man out.

Marcel Hossa is the gateway to Jaromir Jagr's success.

lol

Okay I might be stretching a bit but yeah, getting these two back will be nice.

Callahan has been good, I just wish they'd play him more. I'll welcome him with open arms here in Hartford though.

It is more of a indication of the kind of quality depth this organization now has. A lot of credit has to go to the hockey fairy because anyone who follows hockey & the NYRs knows how lousy our scouts are and our coaching staff is really inept, especally our head coach. Our Hartford staff is too busy handing out donuts to the Amercian Hockey League officials to be involved with the development of our prospects down there. By the way you do know that Lundqvist is just on a lucky run, pure fluke, right?

I don't think Callahan is the odd man out. It's one of Orr or Hollweg, IMO.

I don't think Renney is gonna mess with the 4th line. And besides, Orr is a goal scorer now.

What is this post even trying to say? Are you bashing the Hartford coaches? If so I'd like to know what you're basing this off of.

No, he's being sarcastic, as in both the NHL and AHL coaching staffs have done a good job, not a bad one.

I would also tend to think it...

could be Orr, with Callahan moving down to play with Cullen and JOrts to play with Betts. A PKer and a skilled guy may be more important down the road than an enforcer; ditto for the playoffs, if there are to be any playoffs for the Rangers.

During the Boston game they mentioned that Tyutin had just started skating and was hoping to be back in the lineup later this week.

It would be good to have Toots back. Strudwick, I like him as a 7th man...added toughness, but not that this would happen but i would prefer Malik to sit.

Having them back would only make us better. They were playing great until they got hurt. Tyutin will replace Strudwick, and Strudwick has done nothing, and I assume that Hossa would replace Callahan which I would hate to see, but definitely would not hurt us.

I wouldnt insert hossa in, i would let him sit to be hnest even though he picked up his game NYR is to hot with this lineup. As for tyutin, well he needs to be put in as soon as he is good to go, and as much as i like pock he is the man to be sitting, i would rather it be mail, but thats not realistic, even Strudwick, but i dont think Renney wants to many young inexpieienced guys in the lineup while they been making this huge playoff push being 10-1-3,wow what a record. All there players are finally picking it up and coming together gelling.

Thats a shame cause thjose 2 guys give the Rangers alot of toughness needed, neither one should sit, they be a very good 4th line, and Orr looks like his game is getting alot better. i really think things on offense need to remain the same dont change a thing, there on a roll. only get tyutin back in when he is healthy.

That could be called the PCS (Post Concussion Syndrome) line!

I agree with you, for the PO's. Play Orr spoty till it starts, then give him ticets to Hawaii!!

Orr have looked good lately, starting to get the job done. But in the PO's we won't need a fighter, and from a hockey-skill point of view, Cally is better then Orr.

Gotta put Hossa back in when he's healthy, he was our best player in the playoffs last year.

I'm as big a fan as there is of Orr, but even I think he should sit between Ortmeyer and Hollweg.

The playoffs negate what Orr has as his biggest asset.... Fighting. Everything else considered, Hollweg and Ortmeyer bring much more to the table.

I'd sit Orr as well. His effectiveness will be decreased come playoff time (if NYR is in). Hossa in for Orr, Tyutin in for Strudwick. I don't think Strudwick could play in the playoffs anyway because he'd be ineligible.

Whats best would be -

Hossa-Straka-Jagr
Avery-Nylander-Shanahan
Prucha-Cullen-Callahan
Orr/Hollweg-Betts-Ortmeyer

Malik-Rozsival
Tyutin-Girardi
Mara-Rachunek

- when everyone's healthy.
