There were some good picks in that list (Toffoli mid 2nd etc), most of it was solid but you would never know because of those reaches like McNally and Polasek would have been taken first.

He looks unathletic. Thankfully looks don't mean anything.

In any case, any time an organization president has to publicly come to the defense of an individual scout does not say good things about his position in the org. I don't think they can their longest tenured employee, but I do think Delorme will not have strong influence going forward.

The whole 'we didn't get the right direction thing!' drives me nuts. If you fancy yourself an elite organization, the cogs in your machine drive the bus and get results in their responsible areas
Thanks for this - particularly the first tweet.

@StupidePuck @danthestatman Benning said he can fix it. Made no promise to keep anyone. Also said he's aware same scouts fed gillis same bs
Interesting if true. I imagine Gilman might have had something to do with telling Benning that. So maybe right off the hop they don't get the same leeway as they did when MG first got here...

ummm ever watched a strong man competition or UFC? The strongest men more often than not do not look toned or athletic. Bo Horvat has some pretty masculine looking features. His wide face and square jaw indicates high testosterone and that is often linked to athleticism. What might surprise some people is that Shinkaruk - who many describe as a twig - has similar features.

??? based on a pic??

I only mentioned it as an observation, he's probably trying to put on some mass for the off season. Especially as a young guy doing so it will take a lot of work.

Hopefully he keeps working on explosiveness at the same time, he should be fine.

I'm pretty sure it was what those in the internet biz call a "joke."

Everyone relax

No, its bugged me since the first time i saw it. Awful... It isn't hard to get the official lettering for canucks jersey and to have it done... You can get rockymountainsports on Ebay to custom make a legit Horvat one for $170 shipped to London. And to frame it to be hanged up for display, i think its a bit of a taboo.

i dunno, it being from him as a gift or whatever legitimizes it in my view. i dont like that a thing has to be Master Race Reebok Approved or whoever the **** does the jerseys now

Those pix of Horvat remind me of me when I was younger.

Not the body.

But I have a really big head.

Also the 3 people in the reflection of the jersey...

And LOL at how many people make decisions on players based on photos...

Forget stat scouting, face book scouting is the new advanced stats...
