What´s your opinion about Forsberg?

Is he about what you thought? Dissapointed? Pleased? Thrilled?

Do you think he´s all he was cracked up to be, before the trade?

As long as his patience, creativity, and leadership rubs off on some our younger guys, I think its a win-win situation.

I would love for him to re-sign with Nashville for next year, but I doubt it will happen at this point (unless we go deep in the playoffs and he wants to finish the job next year).

If we keep having the same results, and we, God forbid, somehow get bounced out of the playoffs early, I think he moves on...

I think he's been fun to watch, but I still don't think he's playing up to his full ability yet. Maybe he's saving his mojo for the playoffs?

I'm a little disapointed, but he has had some moments when healthy. Will reserve final judgement until later

What did you expect? The former superstar, or the current Pete who´s playing at 50% of what he used to?

I'm fine with it so far, keeping in mind the Preds havent fielded their entire "Playoff Lineup" yet thanks to all those injuries.

Once that happens i imagine my opinion might fluctuate.
So far it looks like Forsberg is having a hard time with the speed of the game. He'd rather slow it down which is his style, but the predators are speed based and want Forsberg to speed up.

Only time will tell

Disappointed so far BUT there's a lot of hockey left to play. Also I'm pretty sure the Preds didn't pick up Forsberg for the regular season. Let's see what happens in the playoffs.

I agree with most sentiments. I checked, "I'm pleased." Like everyone else has mentioned, injuries (Forsberg, and others) have kept his production down. Real judgement will come in the waning moments of the regular season and playoffs, when our lines are healthy and there is more at stake.

Why is that? Nashville arent my fav. team, but I rooting for them to win the Stanley Cup this year because Flyers are already out of the competition.
I answered "I´m thrilled!" because I am. I've seen him play since he played in juniors when he was around 15 years of age. It's not because of the way he has played for the Predators, I already know what he's capable of doing.

Forsberg is my favourite player ever and I would love to see him win a 3rd Stanley Cup before he retires, and I think the chances of doing that is way bigger in Nashville then it is in Philly, at least this year.

I'm pleased. I think were a much better team when he is on the ice. We seem to be getting more scoring chances with his playmaking ability.

The problem has been the rediculous amount of injuries weve had. Forsberg has had his own problems, then, when he gets ready to come back, linemate Erat goes down.

Then Hartnell is out, Nichol hurt, Sully Hurt.

As much as the impact that we want Forsberg, we expected him to open up the ice for the other 2 lines, and with those injuries, it just hasnt happened.

Hopefully, everyone will be back by playoff time and we'll see what a full strength Preds + Foppa can do.

It's bilros. What would you expect? He's got a bigger axe to grind than Paul Bunyan.

As for the poll, I'm quite pleased with Forsberg. His presence does so much for this team. He makes a healthy Predators team 3 scoring lines deep. And he's been at a ppg since we acquired him.

Honestly though, I think you'd have to be a fool to judge Forsberg right now. He could miss the rest of the regular season with a hangnail for all I care. He's here for one reason and one reason only and that's still a few weeks away.

So you start a thread hoping for everyone to say "Wow I'm disappointed" and then anyone who doesn't agree with your opinion of Forsberg you say you are ashamed?

What is your fascination with Forsberg anyway?

I didn't know we had that many Predators fans on this forum, must be a bunch of outsiders voting.

You did see the smiley?

Forsberg during his peak was one of the most dominate players ever, I have nothing against him. I started a poll to see what people thought of him thus far, what are everyone whining about?

The thing that catches my eye are that a majority of Forsberg's assists are primary, and not of the sometimes misleading secondary sort.

Doesn't he have like 11 points in 11 games or something close? How can that be disappointing?

Yup, 1 goal and 10 assists in 11 games. He is +1, with 6 PPA, and 1 GWG.

I guess thats all we could really ask for, a PperG pace...

It's especially impressive considering he didn't score in his first couple of games, and has been playing with random linemates. He's on fire, lately.
