ummm... wow. Beautiful set play just moments after tying the game. Costa Rica has taken a 2-1 lead

US has to win tomorrow if they want a chance at advancing. I'll be watching.

Pirlo is the only player on Italy I admire...He is the definition of Legend which is above World Class

Soccer levels in my mind...Alot of players make world class moves but consistency is the thing...Pirlo is consistent and has done it time and time again and won at the highest level

Legend
World Class
Elite
Superstar

The Rest

Absolutely. Sucks so much they got put in the toughest grouping. Take care of this one and move on from there

Germany wins. They're the best team in the group and will most likely advance, the battle between Ghana/Portugal/USA will likely be for the 2nd spot.

Is that because we have a better shot at a result vs Portugal than Germany?

Yep. Germany losing doesn't help the US, Portugal/Ghana losing helps us the most. I want revenge on Ghana for the last WC.

USA fans should just be rooting for Germany to blowout every team they play, except us. We also play them last, so maybe if they have it wrapped up, we won't see their strongest starters.

Germany setting themselves up nicely for a blowout. 3-0 at the half and Portugal is down to 10 men. Could get ugly.

I assume he's one of the better defenders? Guys with one name tend to be pretty good

Things are looking pretty good for the US if this is what Portugal has.

Yeah, he's Portugal's best center back. Alves is a pylon, and everyone else on the bench that can fill in is inexperienced or a pylon as well.

USA needs to win tonight. Take advantage of this. Pepe out against US is massive. Could not have asked for a better first half. Now need Germany to get 3 more
