Jeff Friesen????

With all this talk about J. O'Neill & R. Smith, what do you guys think about Friesen? He's not having his best season in Jersey and I heard that he's available?!?!
I think he'd fit in well with the Habs, plays hard and scores key goals....
Just an idea....

To Habs: J. Friesen.
To Jersey: M. Hossa + 2nd rounder.

I'd much prefer Smyth, even with his injury woes.

As for the proposal, Jersey's not looking to re-build. They're looking to re-tool for another run at the cup. That's why the Brind'Amour/Friesen rumor is floating around. Hossa won't do them much good come April.

I really like Jeff Friesen, he shows up when it counts and though not as good as Smyth would be cheaper to get.

Please not Friesen. I live in Jersey, so I watch him, and he does not play "hard" as someone suggested. Friesen in capable of disapearing during games. He is the kind of player the Canadiens do not need.
