Montreal Really wins this one I think based on all three being multiple stanley cup winners and Hall of Famers and I didn't even mentioned Bill Durham and George Vezina who are also great goalies.
I think the Wings should finish 2
hawks 3
Oilers 4
Leafs 5
Bruins 6
Rangers 7
Cheers

Crap. I was day-dreaming and I clicked on the Toronto option, but I had no intention of doing so.

So subtract one vote from the Leafs, I meant to vote for Montreal - who are easily number one IMHO.

BTW, I think you should have added Turk Broda to the Leaf's list. 2 Vezinas and 5 Stanley Cups.

I've changed your vote BlueAndWhite. I agree that Broda should be considered with the Leafs' goaltending greats. Also Hainsworth should be included in the Habs list. i voted Habs btw.

There's no question as to who had the best goalies of all time by organization. The real question should have been "who was number 2"

Easily the habs. Roy, Dryden, Plante...wow. we're talking about 1000 wins between 3 goalies, numerous vezinas and a whooooole lot of cup rings.

Toronto gets my nod as the number 2 team. Belfour, Joseph, Potvin (in the early 90's) Bauer, Sawchuck, etc, etc...they've had some damn fine goalies themselves. If only they could put together the type of defense they had in the 60's in front of some of those goalies...

I'd put Detroit at number 3 on that list, based on wins and Stanley cups and because of all Sawchuck's vezina trophies.

Chicago would beat Detroit, but they only have one stanley cup from that group of goalies.

How about we only let these goalies only count for one franchise? Sawchuk for one. Plante for one. And discount goalies that went to teams late in their careers. Plante in New York and Hasek in Detriot. Those 2 teams did not really player any part in making those goalies any better.
