One thing that bothers me is that many posters don't like it when someone says something negative about a player or the coaching when the team is winning. But when the team is losing you can say whatever you want, right or wrong.

Anyway, today's gdt wasn't that bad, in fact it was kind of funny.

But, that's part of the process of becoming a legit playoff contender on a regular basis...which, this current version is still learning how to do.

They gotta show the fans first before we can start gaining confidence in them. I wont believe a damn thing until this team gets more consistent. Suffered for too many years, through too many teams that SHOULD have been playoff teams.

Agreed, but, the best those teams were at this time of the year was on the outside looking in. This team HAS its destiny in its hands right now. And, the teams behind it are all playing each other . Yes, Carolina could make a run, but, it would be at the expense of TB. And, Montreal still faces Toronto. Plus, we have games with Montreal, Toronto, TB and the IceHoles.

That's what scares me...What will they do with that destiny...

This team has been playing very well the past month. It's not shocking that they lost on the road, in a tough place to play, against a team that needed the win even more than the Rangers. It was their third game in four days, what do people expect from this team, especially with all the injuries?

Besides losing another two goal lead, the most concerning thing is that their best goal scorers (Jagr, Shanahan, Straka) are not 100% and haven't been able to put the puck in the net.

I can't wait for the posts about Lundqvist being over rated and not protecting another 2-0 lead. The Hockey Rodent had an interesting piece of information on Henrik's last 29 games, 1.58 GAA! .944SV%!

Absolutely. I wonder what Jagr would think or say if he saw that. I know I wouldn't want my likeness portrayed that way, especially on the internet.

I doubt...

anyone will say that Lundqvist is overrated if he doesn't finish the job he started a couple months ago - most will just say he's exhausted from having to make every start in 2007 and that it's a sign of a lack of depth at goaltending, if anything.
