Not sure if he's been mentioned yet or not but Daniel Sprong is from the Netherlands a potential first round pick in 2015

Even though you're probably right, I still consider it good news.

Don't take this the wrong way, but this is seriously old news.

Sprong also has a great chance to be a top 15 pick (currently) and will play for Canada. Any hype you have for him will go down the drain. Lets hope that Canada snubs him, he gets angry, and decides to go back to Netherlands.

Apparently 2015 draftee Eritrean defender Oliver Kylington has franchise potential.

You know, he probably won't come close to NHL, but it's nice to see a hockey reaching all the way down there (even though he plays for a German league).

Some sources list his nationality as German

Was in Nice, France for the Division 1A U18 in april.

Was impressed by a few players.
-Latvia, Roberts Locans, Frenks Razgals
-Norway, d-men Christian Bull and Emil Sateraas, forwards Ludvig Hoff, Martin Gran, Colin Olsen
-Kazakhstan, great tournament. Semyon Koshelev stood out. By far the best forward of the tournament.
-Belarus, both d-men, tall Stepan Falkovski and small Vladislav Goncharov and Fw Kirill Markevich (skilled one !)
-France, d-man Hugo Gallet (underaged), forward Julien Guillaume (awesome defensive forward), d-man Arthur Montenoise. Young Loic Coulaud was good as well, though inconsistant.
-Italy, only captain Barnabo was good.

No doubt in my mind he would probably play for Germany if he gets asked by them.

At the moment it is his only option. Argentina, while they have a national federation, does not participate in IIHF tournaments, and I'm not sure when they last had an active national team.

Australian Nathan Walker is in the 2014 Draft. Anyone else in this draft from non-traditional countries?

Did you make any notes of '97 born Bastien Maia from France? Had a pretty good year in the U18 league for HIFK in Finland and has been training with the U20 team in the summer. Lots of upside if skating improves. Good shot and decent puck skills, was a good one already in the U16 league.

From Croatia

Fran gjoni just turned 18 and is eligible , he plays junior for saipa In Finland and there are a few players coming out of the 95-98 class with great potential.the bulk of croatians prospects are now coming from youth system of khl Zagreb , even better youth training then medcescak is churning out.

Well, Perlini partially counts. He's spent less time in Canada than Sprong

Two potential Hungarians

Chances they get drafted though? Probably close to zero.

And taken by the Caps in round 3.

Depending on your view of Germany, Draisaitl may count. Even the fact that he went third overall is fairly big news for a smaller hockey country like Germany. Same with Ehlers helping give Denmark another high draft pick.
