Really hoping for Wiggins/Parker and Saric for this draft. Saric is going to be a very good player, and really dont want the sixers to pass him up

Saric is a lot like Hagg. He is good at everything, but not great at anything. And to succeed in the NBA it is important to be great at something to really make an impact. Sure he can be good, but I just don't see the large upside.

I just hope one of Randle, Gordon or Embiid(will not happen) fall to 10, Gordon the most likely of the bunch. If not one of those guys, I'd by happy with a good SG.

Yeah that's not accurate. He's arguably the smartest player in the draft. Pg skills in a power forward's body. His shot keeps getting better and better. Had he played in the States and not had questions about coming over, we would probably be talking about a top 5 pick in this class. The fact the Sixers don't need him next year could work into their favor because his talent is unquestioned. He's not a freak athlete but plenty athletic enough to to be a 4 in the NBA.

I actually think Gordon is the least likely of the bunch to make it to 10. He's the only one you know is going to be on the court.

Disagree. Go with Exum or trade down.

Embiid is flying down the mock drafts.

embiid will not get past 6. Redundancy at the most talente position in the game seems like a bad way to go. There are 3 top players the draft you either sit at 3 and draft embiid or you package 10 and some 2nds and move up.

after 3 there are going to be no players with superstar potential

Two major injuries in a few months with reports of his first one still bothering him.

Wayyyyy to much risk.

Also mant GMs are putting Exum in the categlory.

this goes for all sports. There are 3 types of injuries in the sports world. Soft tissue injuries, non soft tissue inuries, and concussions.

Of the 3 the least serious are non soft tissue injuries such as broken bones. I know people want to say he could be another walton, bowie, or oden, but the truth is is that many other big men and guards have had the same inuries that Embiid has had and gone on to great careers one of them being Michael jordan.

I rather take a chance on embiid who is the best center prospect to come out in the past decade then take guys whose upside is a 3 or 4th option on a stacked team.

How much of a reach would Saric be at 3 assuming Wiggins/Parker go 1-2?

Breaking: Dario Saric has agreed in principle to a three year deal with Anadolu Efes a source close to Saric told http://ESPN.com .

@chadfordinsider
The deal will essentially prohibit Saric from playing in the NBA for a minimum of two years the source told ESPN.

Yeah saw that. Two is a long time to wait, but maybe you can get him at a bargain. Sixers won't be competing for at least two year anyway. Ford has him slotted to go around #17.

Still could see the sixers taking saric at 10, we'll see.

There's a rumor the Magic are offering the cavs Aron Afflalo and the 4th overall pick for the 1st. Hmm.

It is rumored the Jazz offered: Derrick Favors, Alec Burcs and the 5th overall pick to the Cavs for the first overall selection.

The Jazz by all accounts appear to be interested in Jabari Parker.

The fans are interested in Parker. The team wants Wiggins.

Who knows where these rumors are coming from. It's all a game of chicken and trying to force teams to panic.

Seems like a hefty package for the #1 pick. The sixers couldn't beat that without being stupid, IMO.

Give me Wiggins or give me death. We'll probably end up with Exum or someone else though.

So recent mocks have us taking Marcus Smart at #3. Well let me rephrase that. eliot shor-parks has us taking him. He really dislikes Exum though.

After tanking all season, and then after weeks of "Wiggens is gonna fall to 3!", if we don't end up with Wiggens I'm gonna be pissed.

Trade everything except MCW and Noel to get him

Not that these guys are really experts on the NBA or basketball in general...but Angelo Cataldi and Jonesy were ripping Wiggins this morning on WIP saying the guy is going to be awful and a bust. They seem to want Parker or Embid but want no part of Wiggins. Again, I know these guys are far from even being far from basketball guys, but it is out there.
