Still young, great defensively, can score. I don't know where these pre-conceived notions have come from about him. I'd welcome him in Toronto with open arms.

What would Vancouver want? I imagine Kadri will be asked for.

I agree. If we could get him for Kadri and Riemer. ....sign me up. Kesler's defensive game is astronomically better than Kadri. He could also be really good between kess/JVR.

What the hell?
Eklunds on drugs There is no way that Toronto, New Jersey or the New York Islanders would be that high and Detroit not even in it yeah right. Eklunds a major joke.

Kesler has been injury prone, getting older and on a down swing the last few seasons. I would not involve Kadri who has a higher upside IMO as a non leafs fan. I also believe he would be wanting to go to a team that is built for a cup run as he is almost 30.

It's a known fact that Kesler cant stand Toronto, So Toronto is out and the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils really Eklund you had better get yourself better sourses dude Chicago, Anaheim and possibly Pittsburgh are the logical choices for Ryan Kesler.

He's using you all to generate hits and in turn revenue.

It's not about being 'right' and never has been.

It's sad that there's now a decade of Eklund because of fans obsession with their favorite sport.

I followed Eklund for a bit during the then following the 2004-05 lockout. If you look into him and his history you see he's a clear fraud with a lower success rate then a broken clock.

It makes sense to Leaf fans.

With all these "known facts", it seems it's also a known fact that Kesler is a whiny pissant.

Reimer turned into a Pumpkin this year---not as bad as dubnyk--but he turned into a Pumpkin--Reimer is 26 and is hardly unknown

I know Leafs fans everywhere would cringe but imagine how much could be brought in by dealing Phaneuf and then Kessel and Bozak in a package...

Or how much they could bring in if dealt in multiple deals.

I am starting to think that they should stockpile as many first rounders in next year's draft as possible. While the lottery dictates that nobody is guaranteed the first overall pick, having a handful of picks certainly increases their chances of getting it or a couple of high picks.

Now Eklund is just insulting our intelligence.

This is the type of crap only the most casual of fans would believe, not people who post on forums and actually follow hockey closely...

Yeah I don't mean Phaneuf with those two but I think Bozak's value would be highest when packaged with Kessel, plus their buddies and I think management would at least do them that favour. They just don't have a team that can seriously compete right now. So yeah I'd say a few close to NHL ready prospects/young NHLers and lots of picks.

The Eklund drop down option on this website is puzzling.
