Notre Dame will get waxed by the best teams in the league.

Only if they scheduled another cupcake schedule and get bail out calls by the refs in a couple of games

I thought the same earlier in the offseason. He does have a big cap hit, is getting older, and had injury problems before the last 2 years. So for me it depends what you give up, but you can't be upset having him as the 1 and Decker as the 2.

Yeah but it doesn't sound like Houston has any interest in moving him.

They shouldn't. Johnson is just being a baby. He's getting paid 10 mil and still is putting up 1400+ yards. He has nothing to complain about

If he wants to win a ring, he does.

Meh. Dre has been an elite player his entire career and that's the only reason they've treated him well. In the NFL, with their ****ed up non-guaranteed contracts, I have no problem with players wanting to win rings.

Agreed. I also don't give a **** in general about NFL guys whining about contractual stuff since the NFL doesn't have guaranteed contracts.

Then all he has to do is ask for a trade. Not do all this whining about maybe he will retire, his QBs sucks, this and that.

He did ask for a trade, IIRC, and the Texan management has made it clear they do not want to trade him. If he has to be a malcontent to force their hand, whatever.

I see no reason for Houston to trade him, especially if he holds out. He has no leverage at all.

All he can do is refuse to play and walk away from 10 million.

If he asked for a trade and Houston said no, then he has to deal with it like an adult. Not a crybaby

They're just calling his likely bluff. But if he's not bluffing, for whatever reason, then losing him to retirement when they could have gotten a package back in return is poor management of assets.
Its not a bad use of assets, its controlling your assets. The last thing you want to do is tell everyone else that if they hold out you will move them to a favorable place.

Not official yet but all of the Giants reporters are tweeting that Chris Snee will retire tomorrow. Shame that injuries caught up to him, truly great guard in every facet.

He's smart to go out like this, though, instead of having a **** season.

Dude is an all time great for the Giants. I hope he's back with the team in some capacity or on the air. Love Snee. One of my favorite players ever.

Yeah, I could even see the Giants offering him a scouting job or something.

Good dude, good player. 10 years and some memorable Giants teams.

Who takes his spot? Richburg? Mosley? Jerry :wishtherewasavomitemoticon:?

A real warrior. Glad to see they're rebuilding the line though.

The 2004 draft was terrible for o-lineman. I remember being a little pissed they took him so high, but in retrospect that pick was a grand slam.

Likely Mosley. Dude looked outstanding in OTAs by all reports.
