I think of Hagelin as one of our most underrated players. Was his brother ever close to playing at the NHL level?

In that picture they look a little closer in height than I expected. Not dramatically closer but just a little.

Hagelin is wearing France? These sports guys don't screw around when it comes to sports. Even have their boots on when watching.

Zlatan couldnt carry Sweden to the WC on his own (altho he almost did), so Hags had to pick another team.

I'm sorely dissapointed he did not roll with Argentina, please trade Hagelin

Crappy footage, most of the good ones were lost. I don`t know how.

Here`s a seven minute clip. Zucca goal in the last two minutes.

Hags resting it out on the bench.

Shouted Mats` name, he didn`t know where to look.

Zuke is part of the inbetween entertaintment.

The girl who tried shots first, the speaker said to her: Now you have the chance to hold Zuccarellos stick. Why we are laughing :p

Guy hugging at the end won a trip to NY to see the Rangers next season.

Eight minute clip of the penalty shootout at the end of the game.

At 0:30 we have Jon Almaas, famous TV-show host and comedian. Beside him sits Terje Håkonsen, snowboard legend.

Carl Hagelin at 4:40.

Some of the clips did not work but thanks for posting them. facebook may have had a issue with a couple of them. I saw they raised over a million dollars. That is really nice. Zooks and Hags are pretty good guys.

Too bad Norway and Sweden didn't qualify. No surprise Zucc supports Italy. Hags probably believes France will win the world cup. That may very well happen.

Given the ties between France and Swede nobility (dating back the the Napoleon wars), and if Hagelin has links to it through his family - that might be a reason.

... or maybe he's just a francophile and will leave for Montreal the second he turns UFA

Hagelin is of German descent I think. In Bergen, Norway they have the world (i.e. Bergen-wide) famous Hagelin's Fish cakes.

http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserR...rn_Norway.html

Appearantly Hagelin's mother now and then brings him Fish pudding to NY, and he becomes like a rocket on the ice. Hags & Zuke, Surf & Turf. They should make a joint venture.

I believe Hagelin has a girlfriend, but he travels around with Zucc all summer. She must have a lot of patience with him.

Not at all. He was decent at the Norwegian level. It's more like "Allsvenskan" Swedens second tier.

That would be awesome!
Agreed

Pat Leonard ‏@PLeonardNYDN

Sather on Pouliot essentially said if he were the player, he would choose winning and a good fit over a few more dollars

Sather didn't have much to glean on Dom Moore's situation. Did say while Zucc and Kreider are valuable they can't expect crazy money

Sather also said Zuccarello sees the ice "as well as anyone in the game."

Interesting how Sather talked about stuff that could bring the value down on Zuccarello, like he only has one full season. Rangers obviously still have cap issues.

Sounds like Sather hopes for 3 mill per, but if Zucc gets an offer sheet worth 1-2 more he should take it and leave.
He should certainly not play for nickels and dimes anymore just to play for the Rangers.

Another option is to sign a 1yr deal, and then become free on the market next year.
