Yes Prestia has a man's body already. He has always been big with a nose for the net. George would be smart to keep him close by as he could be an effective OHLer as early as next year.

Gotta think Prestia is pretty pumped about being drafted by the bulls, he has it posted on his twitter account?

I'm sure he is pumped, but if hes not going to be playing for the Bulls next year, then why not pursue the NCAA route.

What chance is there that Dennis Yan is still available at 10 in the import draft? He would look really good on the big ice here.

Just watched Joseph Mizzi back squats on Youtube! VERY impressed with his work and dedication to his training. Bodes well for him coming to main camp.

The schedule for the upcoming year has been released. The Bulls will play 6 home games on Sunday afternoons (4pm).

I like the idea of giving some Sunday afternoon home starts. They have been one of the lowest attendance teams in the league and this seems like an attempt to try something different to see if it has any legs.

In a recent interview GM George Burnett said he has identified 3-4 players for the import draft. They will select a player that will have an "Impact" on this years team

I would have to think a Sunday afternoon game would be more attractive than a Wednesday evening, especially for families and those who live a bit farther away.

That extra half an hour can make a difference if you want to bring your kids on a week night. I think 730 would be too late for the Wednesday games.

I really enjoy reading everybody feedback on this subject heusy 79 ... My niece and hubby had 5 season tickets for a few years but it was such a struggle for them by the time they got home from work ,clean up ,get the kids ready, then get to the game at the end of the first period . ( Wed. night games ) . I know its impossible to please everyone !!! In Kingston Sunday games attendance went down a lot over the years and are trying more Saturday night games this year ??

Jake Marchment gets selected in the 6th round, 157th overall by the LA Kings.

Well deserved! He will be a better pro than a lot of people think. Great scouting again by the Stanley cup champs

Turning our attention to the import draft, many bulls fans wonder if george will select a recently drafted euro? Or go as usual? Pick an unknown? At 10?

The two most recent Bull imports (Zharkov and Tomasek) have some things in common:

Both came to North America to play in leagues prior to their eligibility for the import draft. Both are forwards and both were drafted by the Bulls prior to their NHL draft year.

If that's a pattern then they will be getting a 17 year old forward that played this past season in the USHL.

But this year we picking 10th, there are plenty of high-end talent available at that spot, and hopefully George and Co. have done their homework and talked to agents over the weekend. We need some ready high-end skill NOW, not in acouple of years, someone that can complement Remi Elie.

Zharkov was picked pretty early (13th) and put up 20+ goals despite missing close to 20 games. I'll take a similar player in a heartbeat as the Bulls will be challenged on offense this year.

Given Burnett's liking of drafting 17 year old players already playing in North America I think he might be taking a strong look at 1997 Russian born forward Artem Atemov of the USHL's Chicago Steel, unless he is apprehensive over the whole Zharkov KHL ordeal.

They are two very interesting prospects for sure. Atemov had 16 goals in 50 games, that's not bad considering he's playing with 3-4 year older guys.

I know nothing about the player but the idea certainly seems realistic to me. Ideally though, I'd like to see a high end '97 grabbed here, even if it's someone we have to wait a year to see ( after an NHL team drafts them). The core of the next strong team in Belleville will be built around 97's and 98's IMO. This high pick is a chance to add another top talent to that core.
