Souray has a sprained MCL and is out up to 6 weeks.

What I'd like to know is why there are so many injuries this season. Must be nice to be Tampa Bay as they have only lost 14 man-games this season.

couldn't agree more. i'd like to see a study done on this. wings defenseman kronwall broke his leg in the staples center doing very light activity during a warm up skate. the rash of groin injuries the wings were suffering early on was happening almost all on the road, in multi-purpose buildings.

Add Oilers Isbister (reinjured ankle) and Dvorak (groin) getting injured vs Preds. What is going on with all this players going down like flies?

NJ has that and we usually have no injuries at all ...
