59, 85 and 89 this year.

Essentially a repeat of last year - 3 3rd rounders.

He has more skill than he's given credit for, I just don't think you'll ever see it consistently in the NHL.

Theres really no move we can make where it will change my mind about re-signing Dominic Moore. Couldn't be a more perfect 4th liner for me.

I agree. I put him as the #1 UFA for this team to re-sign. He does a lot of things well

Dorsett was a solid 4th liner. Moved for simply cap space?

Looks like they're gonna throw the big bucks at stralman and possibly stastny.

Keep the picks. You may need them to trade for UFAs who bolt.

Cupboard is bare after three or four guys.

New Canucks coach Willie Desjardins had Derek Dorsett in juniors. Dorsett raved to me during playoffs about Desjardins as a coach/mentor

Good move. Dorsett was good, but to be able to pick up a 3rd rounder is nice.

I like the idea of him resigning. Guy plays better when he has something to prove.

I'll miss him, but grabbing a 3rd and freeing up his spot is A-OK in my book.

Sign Carcillo and bring up Bourque. Platoon. There will be injuries

Bourque? Why are we talking about Bourque?

He was drafted five years ago.

Carcillo-Moore-Boyle. Don't ruin a good thing.

I'm fine with it. 3rd round pick for a guy like Dorsett isn't a bad deal.

You do wonder if this means Carcillo will re-sign.

Agreed. And I see no problem with sticking with Boyle-Moore-Carcillo/? as a fourth line but since it looks like Boyle will be big time overpaid somewhere else this offseason I'm curious who the Rangers have in mind to play 4LW

Not going to miss this guy. Dime a dozen player. The hype surrounding him as a potential Prust replacement when he was first acquired was nice, but he's just not that good. Injects some more potential entertainment into this draft too so I'm on board 100%.

good cap clearing move to either keep guys we have or move at another guy. didn't love dorsett as much as columbus made it sound like we would.

Agreed. I'd even try to trade down. Toronto has no 2nd but a few in the 3rd and 4th so maybe get 4 picks within 40 slots or so.

If you watched HFD you would know. If he makes the team this year, he'll be more popular on this board than Stralman was this year, and this without the HFNYR European contingency hyping him up.
