Actually I love all "pests". Ruutu, Avery, Tucker, Cooke, Barnaby, Tootoo, Lappy etc. And of course my man Kaspar.

They just make things happen. It's fun, it's entertaining.

Avery 180'ed this team. Wise investment. Its quite obvious he's so much happier playing in NY.

[...Although I am eagerly awaiting for the day he does another push-up after a goal. ]

I could be wrong but I always thought the push up thing was a jab at Andy Murray because of all the hype about how he treats practices like games and how some players didn't like that and most fans thought it was stupid to play so hard in practices. So when I saw him do that I thought he was giving the coach a hard time by treating the game like a practice.

People got pissed off at the push-ups thing, but they let Kovalev waltz away when he did the moonwalk in the corner after scoring a goal. Both of those celebrations were hialrious in my opinion lol.

Yeah, Hartnell is a playertype that I think would help us allot too.

He got size, speed and allot of skill. Would be perfect for us on the right side. He also got a bit potential left, if not I see him as a perfect 2nd line RW. Though Shanny will be back, unless he hangs em up, so there isn't much to speculate on.

You are missing Kenny (The Rat) Linesman, perhaps the greatest pest of all time

I knew i would miss a few i did it quick.

That would be something to make a full squad, all in their primes - i wonder how they would do against any team from this season.

I think they would win.
Boy would that be fun to watch.

I'd like to add Mike Ricci too. Just to have one of the guys look like a goblin.

I mentioned him, The Rat and Schultz should be on any agitator list.

Having a good agitator is a funny thing. You hate them when they play for another team. You love them when they're on your team. One thing, though, regarding agitators: Teams can't afford to hold up a roster spot for a guy who can only agitate but do nothing else of value on the ice. For awhile now, guys who were known as agitators have had to develop their skating and stickhandling, as well.

There was a reason that Tikkanen was one of my favorite players on that '94 team. I disagree with you about Beukeboom.

The pesky guys piss you off when they aren't on your team but you love them when they are. That's their job and both Avery and Tucker are excellent at it.

Every once in a while I thank God(s) that Avery is playing on our team. I see the stuff that he does to other teams and I just cringe at a thought of being a fan of that other team - these folks must hate Avery very, very much.
