GDT | Maple Leafs @ Rangers | April 1st | 7:05

MADISON SQUARE GARDEN PROUDLY PRESENTS

The NHL:s biggest game of the year

Featuring

-Tonight the NHL presents a matchup, that could start of the journey to a lifelong dream for some and the road to heartbreak city for others. When the Rangers and Maple Leafs face of tonight at Madison Square Garden more its at stake than just two points, tonight all the bruises of an intense regular season, all the injuries and all the headaches that has followed both teams, could be worth while, tonight one team could start their journey towards the goal, towards the dream that all teams in one shape or form share in October but only a few teams have the privelige to share in April. Right now both Toronto and New York have the dream of battling for Lord Stanleys cup, but that could all change after tonight, after tonight one team could have theirs hopes and dreams hanging on the edge of a cliff while the other will perparing for what they have been preparing for since October.

With that said, we can now proudly present:

"THE GAME OF THE YEAR"

Stats:

You can throw all stats out the window, tonight it's about.

Tonights main actors:

For Toronto:

For New York:

LETS GET IT ON!!!! LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!

being that is Wrestlemania I will have all the TV's going and pretty drunk lol. We need Jagr to play like last night and for Sir Hank to get back to last weeks form. Rangers 5-3 with a empty netter.

Callahan
Avery
Jagr 2
Mara

Yup, a win and we're pretty much in. With the Isles and Carolina just about dead, Toronto is the only team on the outside with a shot. We beat them tonight in regulation and they are 4 points down with 3 to go.

Lundqvist is due for a good one...Just get it done boys! Here's hoping for a great night at the Garden.

a little dramatic with the GDT but yes, tonight is huge. Anything but a regulation loss. Obviously the two points is what we want but just don't lose the game in regulation. On my way to my baseball game, then back for a little split television Mets/Rangers action tonight. This is gonna be fun. LETS PLAY SOME DEFENSE IN FRONT OF HANK TONIGHT. Last few games have been back to old Rangers hockey. We don't want that.

This is the best GDT Ive read on this site. Much better then the ones that just show endless lists of stats and lines.

-------------------------------------------

Oh and:

This game tonight is a MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST WIN!!!

Definitely a nice change of pace...especially for a huge game. But, I'd like to see the name of the guy who donated this sport's great prize spelled correctly. After all, he did pay ten guineas for it!

We win = playoffs

That said, we probably won't win. Or maybe we will. But probably not

Yeah, I think outside of NYC there will be more Rangers fans tonight in Montreal than anywhere else.

Very unique GDT! I like it!

Its amazing the games just keep building and getting bigger and bigger.
I wont be around to discuss anything cause i have to go see my girfriends newborn niece.

"Gotta see the baaaby!!"

Lets Go Rangers!!

They need a come out with a win in a tightly played game to get themselves back into that sharp mode they had during the winning streak.

May the Garden rock like it has never before rocked this year.

This really is the biggest game of the season right here....Toronto 9th place, 1 pt out of 8th and 2 points out of 7th, which is where the Rangers are sitting and they are only 1 pt out of 6th...

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know why I just realized while looking at the standings? That if the Rangers did not blow 10 2 goal leads they would have 109 pts and be in 1st place in the conference. lol Oh well. A win tonight and they Rangers are pretty much in! Let's Go Rangers!

Very dramatic GDT...I'd expect something like that for a playoff game. But I guess the atmosphere before this game will be something close to a playoff game anyway.
