To add, ola...

perhaps the Rangers could've used JOrts out there killing penalties instead of Shanny leading all forwards in SH ice time with nearly 4 minutes, and leading them by nearly twice as much.

Three very disappointing things about last night's loss

was the return of the undisciplined play (something that has been a theme over the last week or so), Prucha's lack of ice time and the unwillingness of the team as a whole to get their nose dirty. Oh, and Renney's continuing use of Shanny on the PK.

The sloppy play and lack of attention to details cannot continue. What I find amazing is Pruch'a continued lack of ice time. Does anyone remember the last Rangers player to have two 20 goal seasons in his first two years? How about how many players who have scored 50 goals in their first two years, but cannot seem to get top-6 ice time? He actually has more shots on goal this year than last year and is averaging nearly 40 seconds less of playing time.

Oh. Yikes, that was a mistake. Some kind of bad flashback.

Ask Phoenix about that. He definitely has some skill, though. He's far better than Scott Parker if he actually tries.

Lundqvist seemed very shaky yesterday. Hopefully he isn't the same tonight.

Strudwick's been awful. If he had #8 on his back he'd be trashed on these boards.

Petr Prucha was an 8th round pick so he should be a grinder/fighter, right?

I agree. He cannot be replaced in the starting lineup quicky enough. It is not hard to see why not one team thought of him enough to offer him even an AHL contract.

Missed the game - doesn't the NHL post highlights somewhere? Can someone direct me to the link?

Edit: Never mind, just go to nhl.com and it's not hard to find...
