lol - this definitely works for ticketmaster individual purchases on the map. I don't see why it wouldn't work on this upgrade system too, worth a shot!

it's possible, should probably take the discussion off the board next time until you are able to secure the seats

That totally blows... but someone got some nice end-ice seats...

If someone picked them up, you should have done the double-cut at 3am or something, when the web traffic would be light....

Awesome! You won't have to go far with those beers...I'm in Row 2 just off the aisle in front of you!

Except that by then someone on the fence with 3 would probably have traded his corner row 14's for them

Also when the the other seat returns into inventory from the cart in a few minutes after timeout the Rangers will have no problem getting someone to take that single

sounds good. I am pumped, I think these will be my regular seats over 208 now. This end ice looks awesome.

I try to make it to as many games as I can, I travel for work often, so it's hit or miss. Should be in for the opener, islander game right after, and most likely penguins game on veterans day.

here's to a good year in 217!

Yeah, I really got to enjoy my seats in 217 during the playoffs. Only needed a pair so I sold my trio in 221 and sat on the end. The view is quite good, particularly in the 1st and 3rd.

Not anymore. There were a few available over the weekend. There are seats in Sec 7 though...Row 2, 3/4/5.

Remind me of this post when you're looking for tickets lol (JK)
Why would I be looking for tickets when I have my own?

Also not buying it is simply a matter of being able to afford every game so they need to get rid of a few.

By my count, there are a total of 101 upper levels seats available and most are front for gallery seats going for $168 a pop.

I am happy for you that everything worked out in the end.

I used to be a "TV" view guy - my seats were in old 312. After hand-rail-gate, and getting my chance to sit in various seats, I realized that for viewing all the action, end-ice is awesome. You don't need to turn your head and you see much more of the ice (the near boards don't block as much).

And as GG wrote, getting closer to the ice is key. I, too, wish they could come up with some transparent netting made of nylon or something...

I would have told anyone who told me end-ice was awesome BS if I didn't experience it myself. My uncle used to love end-ice balcony seats in the old garden. I couldn't understand why. Now I know. I think you're gonna love the new seats....

Cheers!
-Doug

I love the end ice view, and I think sitting at center ice is highly overrated.
I mainly sit in the second row of the 400s in seats that. I buy from another forum member and for the combination of view and cost I think it is a great value.

Has anyone seen any $56.00 seats pop up at all? I think I am going to be out of luck, I added 2 piggybacks in upper 214 last year and was hoping to get them side by side this year.

I agree. Until I sat in 219 from seats I bought from a forum member. I thought center ice was king. His row 2 seats in 219 were awesome. For resale though, center ice is still better

Just checked, nothing. There was 1 pair yesterday, but guess they were grabbed. Just keep your eyes open when your window opens. Might get lucky with someone in that price range wanting to upgrade. At that point, it is all about timing.

Every few hours a pair pops up but mostly in the last row.

My time was 1:00 today and I watched all afternoon and didn't see anything. I gotta think anyone who upgrades from uppers has probably already done it since most are long term STH. I'll keep looking. Thanks for giving me a little hope
