Just an observation from the game yesterday, hopefully it's nothing but, in the 3rd period during the TV timeouts, Lundqvist would go to the bench and Ramsey would massage his hip area. Hopefully its nothing serious. He did stay in the game obviously and didn't look hurt going down.

Yeah, they put something that looked like linement on his hip/low back area. Doesn't have to be anything major though.

Looks like he was putting bengay on him or something... For all we know maybe he was chaffing. I wouldn't stress.

Weekes is ready and should play tomorrow and Sat so Henke could face MTL only at home. This way he can be properly prepared for playoffs

Um .... I think that's a bad idea, ask the Indianapolis Colts of 2005 if that works? Sitting players once you've locked everything up.

Do you really think it's a good idea to give Henrik 6 or 7 days off? If his last regular season game is on Thursday the 5th he wouldn't play again until the 11th or 12th. As much as the fans wouldn't like it, it would make more sense to give him Thursday off against Montreal. That way he would play against the Isles to clinch a spot, then have 3 days off before playing Pittsburgh, and then another 4 days off to get ready for the playoffs.

Well, before we start talking about who should be benched or how much ice time players should get, we need to beat the Islanders first. If we do that, then we can discuss what we do the final 2 games...

who is soft now?!

i remember we were all complaining about being soft, and now we have Orr, Avery, Hollweg, Orts, Shanny, Cally, and to a lesser extent Strudwick willing to muck it up and throw down the gloves..

I think Shanahan, when he fought Brashear in that game against the Caps.

Big win, we owed them that Asswhipping from about a month or so ago, where they killed us like 8-2.

Darcy Tucker is no match for Sean Avery.

Just curious, on the first 'Leafs goal, what was Malik doing not on his side of the ice? Whey did he abandon the post and go to Rozsival's side?
Malik admitted between periods that he made a mistake.

Too bad it cost us the game like many posters thought at the time

Also ran into Maloney/Sather before the game and had Dolan walk by my section during the game. Good stuff
