Where's Larry

Does anyone know where Dancin' Larry is, I heard people chanting "Homo Larry" during the Leafs game, so i thought he was gonna dance. I was just wondering because I haven't seen him at a game in a long time and I'm not really a fan of the new dancing grandma.

That is that creepy old lady that dances to that awful J-Lo song. I've seen her at 2 or 3 games this season...quite freightening. I'm not a fan.

I agree, what's the deal with Larry? I've seen him at just about every game I've been to this season during the pregame skate down by the glass and I even saw him up in Boston a couple of weeks ago and talked to him..but I have hardly seen him dance at all this season.

theres this grandma who sits in like the 100's dances ive seen her dance instead of dancin' larry at a few games, but shes kinda lame, someone has to tell her to pump up the crowd at the end. And Dancin' Larry's profile is priceless

Dancin Granny

They have Larry go once and awhile still. Ever since he got into that fist fight with the Isles fan a few months back they cut his time down.

They had Dancin granny that day also, and that big Rangers fan started grinding with the old lady (and she seemed to really like it)

I talk to Larry a lot as well, he's still there.

It seems like ever since that last Ranger/Islander game at the Garden, he hasn't been doing as much. But it's always some ******* at those games and the Ranger/Devil games that starts **** with him, and I don't get why. He doesn't say anything to anyone, and he's cool with everybody. He's a pretty level-headed, down-to-earth kind of guy.

Granny and the Dancing Larry Saga!

Granny did a great job this season from the moment they panned the camera on her and she did her Dancing Larry impression. That's what kicked the whole thing off. The place was left hysterical laughing! From there, Larry has been slowly weeded out. If I had to guess why it's probably becuase of the huge "Homo Larry" chants that fill the building after he does his thing. Even with that Larry was still getting his airtime, but slowly Granny continued to steal his Thunder. Untill one fateful night at the Garden. Some guy up in Larry's section stood in front of Larry and woudln't let him do his thing. Larry didn't put up much of a fight, but his section responded and a few of his neighbors started getting into it with the Larry's heckler. Finally Larry was able to maneuver around the guy, and do his thing, and as he was doing his patented dance a large figure made his way down the stairs and blindsided Larry's assailaint who was still trying to stop Larry from entertaining the crowd. Response; The crowd erupted...and the camera's instantly panned off the scence which escalated into a few ejections. Since the incident Larry hasen't gotten too much airtime, and Granny got alot more and finally on St. Patty's day Granny found a dance partner wearing a kilt that once again had the Garden crowd in stitches...shortly after that a small "Lesbo Granny" chant erupted from the 400's...I guess that was to be expected! More to come...

You mean that's a regular thing they've been doing? lol I was at the last game vs the Penguins and caught them showing that woman...Thought it was just a random fan in the crowd...I never thought I'd say this but I want Dancin Larry back!

Was that in January at the Bruins game where Jed scored on the PS? Some big fat guy came down and got involved.

Hmm, im not sure. It might have been, I didn't actually see it myself but a secondary source told me what happened. I thought it happened a little sooner then January though.

I don't get the hate, who the **** cares? Let the guy go nuts, he's a Rangers fan first and foremost, that's what matters.

I don't think it was that game. It was either the OT loss to Jersey or the 5-0 thrashing of the Lightning. I was at the game it happened at, but I remember watching the Ortmeyer shot on TV.

I saw him at one of the shirt concession stands before the NYR-CAR game (NYR won in a shootout). Him and the guy working the stand were talking...he was like, "Hey Larry, whats up? No dancing tonight?". I think it followed with Larry explaining that he was just here to watch the game with his wife.

Pretty cool to see him in person though!
