No. He's implying that Hollweg and Avery are very good at what their job is, and that is to distract the other team and take focus away from shutting down our goalscorers.

Yeah Avery, the guy you absolutely hate if you play against him but if he is on your team you have him babysit your kids. He is a rare breed. not being sarcastic with that either.

Sounds like the move went well. It's over at least. Good to have you back.

Uh excuse me you two, but do you mind staying on topic? Otherwise I'm going to have to ask the mods to lock this thread...

WOW... is this guy serious??? Is he on crack? I mean, has he not seen the damage that Avery has done since he's put on the Rangers sweater? The best part now is that he's HOT! Hell, that's fine with me. Let him focus on JJ and the top line so then we can have guys like Avery, Callahan, Shanahan, Prucha, etc etc take care of business and hopefully the next Nolan quote will be:

"oops, maybe I should have paid attention to those guys too".

Lets give em hell fellas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's hoping that Avery gets another Gordie Howe Hat Trick tonight!!!!!!!

- Yeah, they're going to need to save their energy. With all the boasting and fishstick references this thread is going to quite the spectacle should the Islanders win.

Finally got back in America yesterday, after touring Ireland for about a month, and man I couldn't have picked a better game to possibly come home to. I have been trying to follow the Rangers as much as I could over there, which basically consisted of following box scores about twice a week with very limited internet access. So I am extremely pumped for tonight. I plan on cookin up a hamburger, having some Sam Adams , and hopefully watch the Rangers clinch a playoff spot.

Nolan's a idiot. It's as if the Islanders are winning the division and are locked in the playoffs. He should just shut his mouth and pray his team doesn't get mathematically eliminated tonight, rather than spout off about individual NYR's. Worry about the team, buddy. NYR have shown to be more of one than NYI.

OT- That must have been a blast. Went to Ireland in 2005 for a week... a trip I'll never forgot.

Isn't the record 17 consecutive seasons? This will be Jagr's 15th, putting him in 2nd place all time I think.

Maybe you should sneak in a small radio and pump out some SC if we're ahead late in the 3rd?

We're in luck. CI is broadcasting MSG's feed.

http://www.indemand.com/sports/nhl/s...e/schedule.jsp is a good reference for future games.

Please clinch this playoff spot tonight! Beat the "fishsticks", and now that I know that Dubie's in goal for them, trump them to the high heavens! GO RANGERS!

(Pack got Dubie good last Wednesday, so I have full confidence in the Blueshirts to get him better.)

Wow, Islanders fans love to turn everything into a Rangers related conspiracy. There saying that Colin Campbell is purposely keeping Todd Simpson suspended so he wont have to play against the Rangers. They think Colin Campbell actually has a vendetta against the Islanders.

Campbell has a vendetta against the Rangers if anyone.

And they really think Todd ****ing Simpson would help them?

ok... i admit it. i missed the toronto game. i still cant believe it. i could have witnessed a 7-2 thumping instead of partying, drinking, kissing barely legal girls and close-body dancing. i should have stayed home

tonight is the night... rangers vs. islanders to clinch it... they better broadcast this online somewhere...

GO RANGERS
