As I've stated before:

It would behoove us to score first.

Actually tonight is a good night for them to go up 2-0...and then actually win the game. They could definitely use some confidence playing with the lead.

Part 10 of our "biggest game of the season" series.

Man, I'm getting more and more nervous the closer we get.

Let's put these guys in their place and really drill them tonight! Hopefully we can take advantage of no Dipi and pepper another 56 shots on goal.

Does anyone else feel strangely calm about tonights game? Compared to recent games I'm quite confident and hardly nervous. Hopefully the team isn't already looking past this one.

If we win, who's up for a "Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah. Nahhh, Nahhh, Nahhh, Nahhh. Hey Hey Hey. Goodbye" chants?

We did against the leafs who's to say it won't happen against the Islanders. I know their will also be alot of Ranger fans there too along with me! Hopefully some kind of chant of basically kicking the Islanders out of the playoffs occur at the Colosieum (Islanders fans will be too sad/mad to do anything about the chants with a win today) I know I was when they beat us the first 4 times.

Let's beat them the next 4 times (we already have 3/4 of that done too!)

I am very confident tonight with the Islanders playing Dubie and with Zednik out. We can do this! Our offense/defense has been out for blood scoring-wise recently.

Beautiful... if thats the case, I think the Rangers will be supported well and any chants that should happen should be loud and proud. Wish I could be there.

Hope we can match the Isles in physical play for the first 10 minutes. After that we just need to play our post trade deadline brand of hockey and we'll be in good shape. I'm also looking forward to some good hits by Avery on Smyth - that rivalry goes back a way.

Pretty confident about this game. Lundqvist has played spectacularly against the Isles the past few games

Islanders are going to come into the game with a "nothing to lose" attitude, so I hope the Rangers don't take them lightly. I think we'll need at least 5 goals to win this game

GO RANGERS!

I could see this game get way out of hand in the closing period if the score gets up there.

Hoepfully it will be the Rangers in a tight one so some tard on the Isles doesnt clock Jagr or run Hank or go after someones knees...

If it is out of hand I hope Renney would have enough brains to keep the big boys (jagr and company) off the ice in the last few minutes. Nothing to prove there.

Heres to a clean one gentlemen.

Last time you were behooving anything we lost a 2 goal lead in the game and have since lost several games after leading w 2 goals. Perhaps we go with exclusively beneficial or maybe even prudent !
