At his current salary, no. But Weight is my favorite all time NHLer, and to see him in Oiler silks again would be a dream come true. Doug Weight is the man. I love the guy so much I got choked up his first game back when they played his jumbo-tron video.

How come some of you think Weight wouldn't want to come back? Him and his wife cried when he was traded (even though they kinda knew it was coming). When the Blues were here for one of the first times after the trade, Weight said that being in Edmonton again felt the same as being home in Michigan.

He loves the city, fans, and organization and if the Oilers were to somehow get him back, I think he'd be thrilled.
