So no one took Edgars Kulda again? Figured someone would of grabbed him after the Memorial Cup he had.

I'd say it's about time for a re-draft right HFboards?

Can Clarke be offered a tryout or will he go back in the draft next year? I wouldn't mind if the Habs gave him a tryout. Why did he drop as much as he did?

Why did Spencer Watson drop so far?

A young 18 with over a PPG?

It's pretty odd to see such a point drop from his 16 year old season...

(it wasn't a case like Point who scored above and beyond a PPG)

Also was he the reason for getting a PPG or was his linemates a help

because NHL teams are stupid. I might not be an actual scout, but nothing could convince me of the opposite. Kase and Watson going late 7th, Aho, Tkachev and Baillie undrafted. This is just beyond ridiculous.

So how did the picks divide by nationality?

I`m fine with 2 draftees every year, for small nations its all about the consistency. It`s nice if you get a first round pick, but in this case for us its quantity over quality. I mean the time period between 2006-2010 was god awful for us,not one(!) pick in the draft.

Good to see two British Born players taken as well - regardless of their current nationality. Would be good to get a pure Brit in there.

Which team drafted the best do you think? IMO Anaheim, LA and Dallas drafted really well.

Without going back and checking, looks to me like Stevie Y had another strong draft for TB.

Yes and they could even sign him to an ELC. Jean-Sebastien Dea went undrafted last year, the Pens signed him in camp.

As for his season, I would suggest typing his name in the search part of this blog for all the details on his awful season:
