When I watched the game last Saturday I saw the same thing...and loved it.

He just hits, hits, hits, and its not little bumbs...he hits like Hollweg. He's got another year at the least in the AHL..but from that game I liked what I saw.

So would it be a good comparison to say a Hollweg that can add 15-20 goals too?

Heh, if Holly could score 20 goals in a season I'd die happy.

I don't think you'll see him fight as much as Hollweg does in the NHL.

Well, hes not AS physical, but he checks just as hard as him.

After watching that 1 game, if at had to judge him on that i'd say: A very hard hitting player, who has the potential to be a 20-30 goal scorer.

Maybe a player who has a somewhat similar style of play would be....Gary Roberts.

Again, that was just one game, i'm going to watch the game this Sat and I plan on going to a playoff game this season and ordering hopefully all home games in the playoffs. I'll have a much better opinion then.

According to a poster at another site that I frequent, Adam Graves compared him to Mark Recchi in a recent fan greet.

Sangs looks like a big guy..

he had some good hands on the PP to set up Moore, then to Immonen for the break, kept it in and swung in from the point..

Wolfpack score! Bourret shot it torwards the net and it look like it went off Dawes.

Nvm...They gave it to Bourret.

Bourret scores!

2-1 Pack

after the PP finished..

nice movement from Immo, getting two players drops it back to Bourret who shoots from the right wing.. may have deflected off of Dawes skate..

Dubinsky scores!

set up by Moore (from around the back of the net) to Dubinsky to the top of the slot..

3-1 Pack

((they have almost NO time after the goal to when they have the faceoff))

Keep it up Dubi!

I honestly can see Dubinsky scoring 60-70 points next season if given top line minutes (like he most likely will).

I wasn't expecting that this year, I knew it was take him sometime, like most players to adjust to the speed of the AHL..but it seems like he has. Next season he's going to have a lot of fun out there.

12 Points in his last 10 games, has at least 1 point in 11 of the 12 games. Consistent player, great skills...I can't wait for him to get to the NHL.

From the looks of things, I think thats a pretty fair expectation for Dubinsky. He seems to be controlling play rather well.

for a second i thought you meant he'd be a 70 pt player in the NHL next season with top-line minutes.. i was so excited and confused..

btw, After the game Tommy Pyatt and Tom Zaborsky are both having an autograph signing in the lower mezzanine area..

it seems like Dawes and Bourret have very good chemistry.. lots of nice, complex passes yet it seems as though it all makes sense to both of them.. they know whats going on when they're on the ice..

(DAMN, 3-2, Pirates score.)

Dubinsky winning a bunch of draws..

aw man! Dubinsky takes the puck away, skates into the slot and just misses the goal, as it goes off of the Pirates goalies stick..
