GDT | Habs @ Rangers | April 5th | 7:05

@

7:00pm EST
TV - MSG
Radio - 1050AM

Im rolling in the GDT early with a 6 game winning streak . We win tonight, we are in the playoffs. Keep it simple, get shots to the net, and put traffic in front of Halak.

LETS GO RANGERS!

You know Ortmeyer and Prucha will be switched around.

According to Sam's blog, Toots will more than likely be playing tomorrow.

I think it's important to get Toots back a couple games before the playoffs. He's not going to catch up with the game speed unless he does so.

I agree that Renney will likely put Prucha on the 4th line. HOpefully he doesnt though. Especially because Ortmeyer just hasnt been good lately even outside of the penalties.

I dont think Prucha is the perfect player by any stretch, but he should be ahead of Orts.

Wow that's an old picture..but I remember that game..2002 season, late in the year and it was a crucial win to keep us in the Playoff race against the Habs...of course it didn't wind up ending out so good...but the general idea works

Huge game. Lets see Toots and Pruc back, lets pour the offense on like we did against Philly and Toronto and lets clinch this spot without worrying about all the other teams and scenarios.

NHL 07's Predictions:
I played these out on my 360 using Tuesday's lines for both teams. The only change I made was scratch Hollweg and dress Prucha (there's no way Renney can scratch Prucha again...right? )

With Tyutin (scratch Strudwick)
NYR 2 MTL 1
Goals: NYR:Straka, Shanahan MTL: Kovalev

Without Tyutin
MTL 5 NYR 0
Goals: Ryder, Higgins, Plekanec, Johnson, Kovalev

NHL 07 seems to think we need Tyutin and I completely agree.

I'm speechless, someone on this board actually got a whole french sentence right! (Just kidding, it's great to see some people trying)

Oh and I have a proposal... if we're tied and the Leafs are getting blown out, can't we just play it safe and wait for the overtime?

Is it yet safe to say this is the biggest game of the season?

Garden will totally be rocking.

I think we need to throw Orty out there every time Souray is on the ice. He's the only one crazy enough to block it. Well, Shanny and Prucha too but they would both equally die for different reasons >.<

Would be nice to build momentum here and carry it through the pens into the playoffs. And I want that 6 seed dammit!

haha, even though I would love it if the isles were out, I predicted them 8th seed at the beginning of the year. All my predictions are pretty accurate in the east except I thought Montreal would be much higher. So it would be a giveth and taketh thing for me =p

Hopefully Jagr do it Today in MSG! With Tyutin back we have a solid D. Weekes and Hossa still out?

I think we'll see a lot of goals today. I predict 5-2 to Rangers.

Let's Go Rangers !!
