I would love nothing more than Jagr to do it tomorrow, even against the habs. As long as my habs win, Jagr can score as many goals as he pleases.

Hey! Y a des Américains qui parlent français! Dire que nous ne parlons qu'anglais, c'est comme dire que tous les Canadiens habitent dans des igloos.

(Hey, there are Americans who speak French. Saying that we only speak English is like saying that all Canadians live in igloos.)

Let's go, Rangers.

Biggest Home game of the year.

Stick to the plan, stay out of the box and bury some pucks.

Win.

3-2 Rangers in regulation. I saw the game-winner in a dream last night (which is strange, because I hardly ever remember my dreams). In the 3rd, a rebound bounces out on the stick side towards the faceoff circle, about 5-10 feet outside of the crease. Jagr gets the puck with his back to the net, settles it, turns around, and rips a wrist shot top shelf.

If it actually happens, I'm buying some lotto tickets first thing tomorrow morning.

Oh and I have a proposal... if we're tied and the Leafs are getting blown out, can't we just play it safe and wait for the overtime?

I just read the Post's article and just read some things that don't make me too happy with Tom Renney....

Quote:
Colton Orr worked on a fourth defense pair with Jason Strudwick. This can't be good news for either.
WHY? I don't care if it's practice.... but what's the point? Horrible horrible idea...

Quote:
Over the last few games, the Rangers have slipped back into over-dependence on Four Horsemen Jaromir Jagr, Michael Nylander, Martin Straka and Brendan Shanahan. True enough, this is the time of the year in which horses are necessary, but coach Tom Renney's team is better off when striking a balance.
That's because Renney is giving less playing time to those who have deserved it and who have helped the Rangers get to where they are right now... which brings me to my next quote...

Quote:
Prucha and Ryan Callahan, who received 16 shifts for 10:47 overall but only four shifts for 1:59 after the second Tuesday, need meaningful ice time.
That's so frustrating to see. So frustrating, as I'm sure most of you feel the same as well. Listen, I know the team needs some toughness out there but why do we need a guy like Colton Orr taking ice time away from guys like Pruch and Cally? Give me a break...

Anyone else have any thoughts? I mean, maybe Renney was afraid to have the kids out there and was hoping guys like Jagr, Shanny, Nylander, and Straka would win that game against the Isles themselves and get that playoff spot? He should know better... this year this team's success has come when they roll all 4 lines... Not just forcing Jags and our top dawgs to try and win games for us... they'll be dead once the playoffs begin, just like last year.

Agreed... It should be crazy in the Garden tonight. All 18,200 should know that a victory tonight puts us in the playoffs and back into the 6th spot for the moment. This is huge... really really huge.

LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!

It should be quite physical game. 4th line should play 3rd line minutes. Prucha and Gallahan should be warming the bench. It's ok, though. It is not the time to develop youth. Stock it up! Ride 4 horses, Tom. Or whatever... Just get us a win, please.

Oh my god, oh my god, I can't wait.

Orr and Strudwick practicing as a 4th defensive pairing only indicates both will sit.

I want defense this game.

Usually that's what happens when a defenseman or forward is going to be scratched. It's so they're both out there skating and stuff, but not interfering with the pairings and lines that the coach wants to see in the actual game.

Sam is saying that Orr and Strudwick practicing together isn't a good sign for them in that it means one or both may be scratched tonight.

How about the Habs win in OT, and the Isles get rid of the Leafs in regulation? That way we're both in!
