Pretty average FEQ lineup. Then again i'm sure some people will like it but as far as my musical tastes are concerned it's pretty meh. Queens Of The Stone Age and Soundgarden are cool but i wouldn't call myself a huge fan or anything.

Gonna pass this year. I'm just glad they decided to unveil the lineup before selling the bracelets this year. It was dumb and illogical to do that anyway

Pumped by FEQ.

For a great price, you get all that ? Nice.

St. Vincent, Gary Clark jr, QOTSA, Soundgarden, Snoop, Journey (what?), Jake Bugg? I'm sold.

St Vincent is just freaking magical. I bet it's similar to witnessing Jimi in live.

Snoop was also hella fre$h

Deltron 3030 at the Jazz Festival was amazing. They looked like they were 30 on stage.

1st post on the boards, 1st confirmed band for HMTL!

Hey guys, this is my 1st post on these boards but I've been checking out this and the other thread for years now.

I live in Montreal and go to the Heavy MTL/Heavy Montreal fest every year.

The 1st confirmed band leaked last week: Faith No More!

AC/DC is playing the Big O in August and other bands are rumored to play Heavy like Scorpions, Accept, Slash and Myles Kennedy, Slipknot and many more

If they were to play a fest, tickets would be wayy too expensive, so festivals are out of the question.

Last time they came in 2009, they played the Big O. They have an album coming out in 2015 and an extensive tour lined up. Look at the tourdates and you'l see that my info makes sense

Weren't they talking about playing in Québec City in August or early September?

FNM was confirmed since almost a month now but the fest didn't make a public announcement about it until this week.

AC/DC is playing Coachella, which is one of the biggest fests in the world, but you should also look at the prices of the tickets. Heavy usually tries to go for $140-180 for a weekend pass. Besides AC/DC is also playing the Big O in August. I was right about FNM , why not about AC/DC?

Why do they even bother with music concerts at the Olympic stadium is a mystery to me. The acoustics there are more than terrible.
