Have to do whatever possible to keep the momentum going into the playoffs. Definitely not.

With a win in Pitt, we clinch 6th. He is playing... no question about it.

Why would we need to rest Henrik? He gets at least three days off after Saturday and it really doesn't seem like he's tired or anything.

Play him, I want the 6 seed.

Pit and Ott are tied at 103 so if Ott loses (regulation or ot), a win will give them home ice advantage. hopefully, Ott goes up 5-0 in the first period so they pull back to avoid unneccesary injuries and fatigue. their series against Ottawa is gonna be tough. All the match ups this year seem tough.

Always a tough game against Pitt. They always get all the breaks, our only chance to win is if Hank is in net. I can't stand that Pittsburgh team, especially in their building where they will get all the calls on top of all the bounces and lucky goals.

What's the over/under on how many times Cindy Crosby dives like super man in this game?

I don't know if this has been mentioned somewhere but in this article (okey it is from a ****** newspaper in Sweden that everyone hates but it is a quote from Lundqvist) http://aftonbladet.se/vss/sport/stor...040423,00.html said that he wasn't feeling so well before the Montreal game, apparently he had a cold (dripping from the nose etc.) and couldn't really focus on the game until he got on the ice, maybe a game off so he could get well before the PO's would be nice?

If Tampa and Atlanta both lose in Regulation tonight (Doubtful), the Rangers clinch 6th I believe no matter what happens in the Atlanta/Tampa game Saturday night.

If that's the case, then rest everyone.

It's all upp to him. If he feels he needs a game off, give it to him, if not, play him.

The biggest mistake Renney made last year was assuming that the playoffs were more important than playoff position. We need the six seed or we will not see the second round in my opinion. Biggest game of the year, he should not sit even though it would be nice. He will have three full days off between the 7th and the 11th.

nah, let him build Brodeur-like stamina, so he can play 75 games next regular season

No... we don't... The only reason you would sit Henrik is for Henrik's benefit, not to help Weekes. I would rather call up Montoya or start Valiquette than play Weekes. I hope to God he's done as a Ranger.

No way, don't touch a thing. He'll get a few off days between the end of the season and the 1st game of the playoffs. Just keep everything as it is!

Don't we need a backup G? Who else do you want to be ready for PO? Valiquette?

Agreed.

Unless Henrik is hurting in any way there is no need to sit him. Seeing as there hasn't been any back to back games this week or in the near future, I don't even think this is a question that Renney will even think about.

Henke has to play. Especially with the Playoffs not starting until Wednesday. So theres def a good Gap in Between. We have to get that 6th Spot. And Renney seems to be intent on keeping that spot. So I expect Henke in.

Cant think about that IMO, have to expect that Kevin will be in shape and will be able to do well if Henkie goes down and lets face it even if Weeks was ready as a back up it would not matter cause Lundy (along with some good team defense) has flat out carried this team since December.

Henrk goes out, playoffs over. Weeks playing one game at the end of the season will do nothing.

Thats the situation you'd hope for. But if thats the case, I'd still let Henrik made the decision. He's said a number of times hes gained confidence and concentration by playing so often. If he wants to play, let him.

He sounded like he was battling a cold in his post-game interview with Al last night. He'll get rest after Saturday, but ideally, you hope that TB and ATL lose tonight to make Saturday's game meaningless.
