Kind of like watching the Predators. Play defense while the goalie keeps them in the game. Yell at them to get the ball out of their end and go play on Belgium's end for a while. And then of course turn it on when they are down by 2 with 5 minutes to play.

Did they ever provide clarification on whether or not he was called offside?

He hit his first homer last night. Good for him. Overton High I believe.

The ball was caught by a kid from Cookeville that had pitched against him before. Also his initials are MLB (which was intentional)

the fact that soccer's most important event, one which the whole world goes ape **** about, can be decided by the equivalent of a shootout, is just mind boggling.

what is so hard about the concept of playing until somebody scores?

22 players on the pitch, can't switch out players unlike hockey, they'd be dead at that rate (if they played like NHL playoffs)

i just can't see them not at least having a golden goal(sudden death) overtime in the final, no matter how long it takes… if they start getting tired, someone will score...

They both get checks with a lot of zeroes on them.

Yeah the whole shootout thing in footy is so weird and frustrating.

Why not change the rules for subs if it goes to extra time? Why not play for golden goal? It's mind boggling that they would want the most important game in the world to come to to a 50/50 guess. I could understand not wanting all the other games to go extra time and golden goal but the WC Final?

It's unfortunate but they could keep that going for hours in soccer. No one wants to screw up and make the mistake

No, no, didn't you hear:

"Soccer is a game played by 22 men running around on a field for 90 minutes, and in the end Germany always wins."

Butch Stones lands another 5 star in Kahlil Mckenzie. That decision was over the moment he was born.

As a Vanderbilt fan the more top star recruits he lands just raises the expectations for this season. He has to win 10 games this year to satisfy the Vawl fans. Big Arnage fans remind me of Oiler fans always talking the future never the present.

I don't know any Tennessee fans that realistically expect that many wins this year. Replacing both offensive & defensive lines in a line of scrimmage league will be difficult.

I honestly expect 5-6 wins this year. Starting next year when Butch has two solid recruiting classes under his belt, 9-10 wins should be the norm.

You don't get your news out of Knoxville I presume. They are building this season and these recruits as a team the will compete in the AFC South. They had the fifth best class in the country but was third in the SEC.

Lol I'm well aware of how delusional our fan base can be. I guess that can be said for any other college town though. Like I said, the realistic fans know this year will be a struggle for UT..but I honestly expect it to be a lot different next year & the years after.
