Yeah last couple of minutes are much improved. I saw Kaberle for the 1st time just a sec ago. Good diving play by Mike.

I can't believe our luck on that 2 on 1.

Goal by Hossa 3-0

Finally a goal for Carolina, I didn't see who scored it though.

I'm loving this agressive penalty killing

Uh, no it wasn't. The replay showed Hutch's arm on Kovalchuk's skate and Kovalchuk leapt in the air.

Well, it looks like this game tomorrow is going to decide the #10 overall draft pick and 3rd place in the division. The highest the Canes can finish is 12th.

Florida has poison-tipped daggers for us, so we better be ready.

I was at the Lightning/Panther game tonight. That Florida team is going to tear us a new one. It wasn't as close as the score would indicate.

Considering it could be the difference between the 10th and 11th pick, I say let them have at it. Now that we're out of it, i'd rather lose tomorrow and get a steal like Couture than have another team picking ahead of us.

Atleast we can look forward to an active offseason. We need to really re-evaluate our entire roster, as well as stock our prospect pool for Albany next season.

The call on Anson for diving was a complete joke. He was slashed three times, twice in the ankle and then gets cross checked from behind. What was he supposed to do?

And I am worried about Florida tonight. Not scorewise - cheapshot wise.

Well I am almost hoping Laviolette plays Grahame. If he puts Ward in their they will take him out. Mind you I don't want to see John get hurt either.

We could just play without a goalie, which we've basically done the past couple of weeks. I would certainly limit the ice-time of guys like Cole, Staal, and Williams. Tonight would be a nice night to put the focus on our third and fourth lines and see what those guys can do with additional time on the ice.

lol You never know what we could do with that extra attacker. But I never thought of giving the 3rd and 4th lines more time. lol
