Puig: 0 HRs, didn't even bring a pitcher.

Way to care about the fans, man.

I would have loved to see Moss instead of Donaldson. No chance of screwing up Moss' swing since he's dead pull anyways and that man is a batting practice beast

There's no way Fraizer's gonna beat 9, Cespy's gonna be the back to back HR derby champ

With all they can do with the HR Derby, it is still an incredibly boring event. I don't mind Chris Berman as much as other people do (In fact, I kind of like that he calls this event), but even he sounded bored at times. I wish they would get Berman and Mike Piazza back together. I think It was when the ASG was in Boston you had that team and I was really entertained by the commentary. It also doesn't hurt that they invited players to the announce table and interviewed them while still showing the action. Now the show is just dull and the camera work seemed to be done by someone who doesn't know how to do Camera Work. It was a shoddy production, and a very boring event.

Or just have pitchers hit. I would watch then.

I would love to see MadBum hit. He might actually get more than Yasiel Puig got tonight.

Don't forget about the bash brothers. Canseco hit one in the 5th deck in Toronto and Mcgwire hit one in the upper deck at the Kingdome back yonder.
Stanton is still only 24 which means he's not at his physical prime. At the end of his career there are gonna be some absolute monster HRs.

The weather didn't help. Tough for a ball to carry in that park with wet, humid air. Stanton gassed out hitting those tape measure shots in the 1st round. Need a lot of oxygen to the muscles to keep 6'5" 250 going strong.

You almost expect the A's to walk off now. Donaldson came up and that feeling was there, only made more remarkable by the fact that Ray Fosse called it. Those are always so fun.

I had a feeling going into the 9th it would get interesting. Tge swinging bunt by Cespedes confirmed it.

hope hammel can find his groove very soon

still bothers me that milone is stuck in triple A after the way he was pitching. if hammel continues to struggle i would hope billy tries to package him and that loser johnson in an attempt to get a good hitting 2B

I still hate the Angels, but Trout & Pujols shooting arrows at Rodney was pretty dope.

49ers seeking to alter flight paths from SJC during events.

(There is a standard FAA 3000 ft/3 mile no-fly zone during events, but there may still be noise.)

According to the Blue Jays broadcast, Milone asked for a trade.

yeah i heard. doesn't seem like something milone would do but if it's true, you can't blame the guy. i'm still not sold on hammel and this could have been avoided if billy had just dfa'd that stupid idiot johnson and demoted milone or chavez to the bullpen instead of sending milone to AAA.

requesting a trade and demanding a trade are totally different though so i'm not sure at all what's going to happen. i'd hate to see him leave but if he does, i would sure hope they get that 2B in return
