Columbus has to be a tough one. David Vborny? Geoff Sanderson?

I would have guessed Ken Hitchcock but they specifically said 'players'.

Surprised Columbus wasn't just Rick Nash (though it's not like any of them REALLY deserve HHOF consideration).

Yeah, if we're talking about Blue Jackets history, a builder would likely be nominated before any player. Unfortunately builders do not qualify for this series, as we are only covering players.

Next is Detroit? Tough choice, they've got so many players in already.

Reed Larson? Chris Osgood?

I think you're right with Osgood. This website seems to like players from the 90s.

Osgood would have been a hard sell. He is a step below Joseph/Luongo and I'm not sure either of them will get in.

Osgood would have been a hard sell, but IMO, Reed Larson is even harder. Everything I've read about him says that he couldn't play defense, basically a poor man's Phil Housley, though more of a canon of a shot on skates, so a different skillset than Housley who was more of a passer

Who's next... Edmonton? Gotta be Doug Weight. Don't think Lowe or Huddy were good enough, were they?
