Ooooh. Stamkos?

I'm pretty sure GKJ's very first pick was Quick? At least, something very early. And I laughed. And then when I had Pavelec as a starter I spent my whole season wishing I'd picked Quick.

Quick was the first pick. And it shocked everyone.

I thought GKJ snagged Quick in the top 3 and it made me LOL. As it turns out, you made me LOL.

I'll trade you Bob for Quick.

I like Bob, but I'll stick with Quick.

I'm hoping we can wrap up Keeper Selection quickly; trading will still be open before I roll Keepers over. So if there's anything you want to sneak in before the hopefully looming deadline, make it so.

Should read some of the gems we said in the first HF Fantrax league thread.
here is one of mine boasting about how I might have one of the best goalie lineups.

I like how I came into a multi-year keeper league and went full Sather, collecting as many old players as I could.

Awwww mannnnn, lol. Hey at that time he lost his job, and TT was coming off a Vezina win. I feel bad for WV Icers. I went back and looked at the trade I made with him. Kovalchuk, mere months prior to him defecting, a 2nd and a 3rd round in this years draft, for Couture and his 1st and 2nd in that years draft, the 1st ended up being the 3rd overall(Rinne) and the 2nd was traded along with my 2nd and my late first for the 1st overall(Stamkos).

There were a lot of one-sided trades looking back, and yours was definitely one of them

Wish I could find the trade I made to get Rask...pretty sure the center piece was Markstrom.

I accept.

My 2nd for Turris and 7uongo.

So, as a note; this time the Keeper Deadline is hard in place. Anybody who doesn't fill in their keepers is likely going to be screwed, and depending on the circumstances and how many people don't select their keepers, I'll be forced to seek replacement GMs while also considering a contraction.

I'm not going to help you stack your already stacked team by giving you *more* high draft picks. Especially not for trash

You want a 2nd round pick, then you need to offer a player who would probably be taken in the 2nd round at least otherwise I'll keep my picks.

I might have kinda sorta traded a pick because there's a chance I'll miss the second round anyways.

I must defend my player!

Iginla was right behind Nathan Mackinnon in fantasy points last year. Ahead of Voracek, Pominville, Ryan, Kesler, and Okposo just to name a few. He'll be a top 3 available RW no doubt. He's worth picking in the 2nd round for sure.

I suppose that is possible, but we'll see what 2nd round options there are in the draft and see if you are right

Parise
Sedins
Hossa
Piety
Weber
Bernier
Suter

MacKinnon is still considered a prospect correct? If not I will drop Suter and keep him. Pretty sure he still is considered a prospect though.

Unfortunately for you Mackinnon played all 82 NHL games last year and you had him in your lineup. The way I understand the rules, that would mean he's no longer a prospect. If he had played 81 or less you could have kept him as a prospect.

That's correct. If he played 82 games and wasn't already in the minors, then he's not eligible for the minor league slot
