Hmm, I think Clady being in the lineup might be a key piece of the puzzle.

Refs are in regular season mode. Calling every single penalty, NFL is unwatchable these days.

It's a total cluster, the penalties are ridiculous. I guess you are only allowed to play defense against the Broncos.

It probably would have kept Thomas out of Seattle though.

That RB from Duke was impressive last night.

I also watched bit of Cowboys/Chargers last night, Chargers somehow got a player that looks like another Darren Sproles. /Preseasonoverreactions

Last night was a joke for the refs. There were about 5 or 6 really questionable penalties on the Broncos and a few of the Seahawks where the announcers were struggling to find the infraction. But then yet they missed some pretty blatant ones. #78 on the Seahawks, I think he was the the LT most of the night for them was holding almost every single play yet never got called.

It was a joke and the refs need to clean up their act before the season, as that stuff won't fly with me during the regular season. 24 combined penalties is a joke.

Final Outlaws regular season game is at 3:30 Mountain Time on Altitude and ESPN3 today. As long as they don't get stomped they'll get the two seed and a home playoff game; if they win they're the #1 overall seed.

Here's Paul Swydan's take on what the Rox should do. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/some-...-2015-rockies/

I'll link Jim Bowden's, but it's kind of hilarious + ESPN Insider.

The Rockies need an owner and a GM.

Until they get those two, nothing else matters

Football and hockey can't get here soon enough.

And anybody know where I can get a snowmobile?

It's so sad watching F1 destroy itself.
Indycar has passed it some time ago already, masses haven't yet noticed though.
Even I noticed it just last year, pissed at myself for not recognizing it earlier.

The episode of Mork & Mindy where Robin Williams tries out for the Broncos Cheerleaders:

Couple of footnotes: the Broncos slaughtered the Pats in that game and the Broncos disbanded the Pony Express after a few of the members were caught robbing a drunk who turned out to be an undercover cop and subsequent revelations of cocaine use and solicitation.

So the Outlaws are playing the New York Lizards in the MLL Semifinals on Saturday 8/16. The game will be at DU's lacrosse stadium at 3:30, and it will air live on CBS Sports Network.

The winner advances to face the winner of Ohio@Rochester in the championship next week.

This is the ninth time in nine years of existence the Outlaws have made the playoffs. Hopefully they can finally break through and win it all this year, and get Pat Bowlen a championship.

Danny Trevathan was carted off the field at Dove Valley today. Sounds like a knee injury.

Ware pickup looks awfully good now with Danny out.

If the Lions are seriously shopping Mikel Leshoure I think the Broncos should bite.

The Colorado Mammoth signed Eric Law today.

Law is an Arapahoe High School graduate, winning High School Player of the Year and a state championship in his 2009. He then moved on to Denver University, where he still ranks top 8 all-time in goals, assists, and points despite only playing three seasons.

Law has spent the last two seasons playing with the other professional lacrosse team in town, the Denver Outlaws, and lead the team in goals this year. He'll now play for both pro teams in town, including the Outlaws' playoff game this Saturday.

And he was also a member of the inaugural Jr Mammoth program, an initiative where top local pros give instruction to promising youth players.

The kid was even a Mammoth season ticket holder growing up (hard to believe the Mammoth have even been around long enough for a guy who grew up watching them to suit up for them).

It's really great to see a hometown kid do well at what he loves.

Tulo done for the season...Cargo possibly done as well.

Such a shame, both guys are so talented. Almost as if those big deals they signed were cursed.

Tulo done for the season and probably done in Colorado. I just hope he's not a Yankee next season. Yuck.

I'm pretty sure they were cursed the moment the put on the jersey. It's like the stupid dinosaur bones they dug up building coors were cursed, and dinger is the ghost that haunts us.

What exactly does the Yankees have for the Rockies to trade Tulo to them? Outside Gary Sanchez, they have nothing. I also think it would be idiotic to trade Tulo, but we went over this topic couple days ago

I don't think there's one person that likes Dinger. I know Troy Renck hated him when he covered the Rockies.
