Will be interesting to see if they roll an all-American line.

Interesting with Arlbrandt leaving.. Can McDonell be a top-6 guy? Can Salomonsson? Can Vrana?

What about Karlsson? Got PP minutes with the top unit at times. Melin seems to love him.

There will be a replacement. Helber said they hoped to have something finished by the end of the week.

Read somewhere that it might be Adam Hall

Apparently Kabanov is heading to Skellefteå. Can they snag Nylander too?

Where will Nylander play? My guess is not in Sweden.

Don't see him playing in Sweden, but if he did it reeks of Frölunda around that. OEL, Wennberg, Lekhonen, etc.

I think chances are pretty good that he plays in Sweden, at least a part of the season.

Mikael Samuelsson -> Djurgården.

Funny. But not what they need. My guess is that he'll be injured half the season.

Half the season? I give him 10 games at most.

Indeed. They're gonna give him too many minutes and he's gonna tweak something.

Sebastian Lauritzen joins Djurgården aswell (as expected).

They are taking a big chance with these two players.

I like the gamble on Lauritzen, he's a good power play set-up man and maybe he can feed Samuelsson or someone else on the PP and score some decent numbers. If Djurgården wants to avoid relegation playoffs they're gonna have to rely on crazy goaltending and good special teams or something like that, because they aren't gonna dominate many games.

Don't recall if we usually update the projected lines at the start of the thread, but anyway. Based on the lines used at the "practise event" two days ago this is what Linköping's lines look like for the start of the season (assuming they work out as they should).

Little - Taffe - Kolarik
Hardt - Sjögren - Micflikier
Vrána - Almtorp - McDonell
Karlsson - Andersson - Nordén
(Salmonsson & Sundh start off "injured", expect them to play on the 4th line instead of Andersson and Nordén when they are healthy)

Dahlström - Johansson
Junland - Hultström
Rahimi - Matheson
Karlsson - (Forsling?)

Högberg/Rautio
Johansson

Linköping looks great, though I think they should add a depth guy on D in case there is any injuries.

As for Leksand, there won't be any more players joining before the season starts.

Our lineup will look something likes this:

Bergenström - Ryno - Himelfarb
Kähkönen - Sallinen - Grönberg
Connolly - Connolly - Brunnström
Russell - Händemark - T.Forsberg/Mårtensson

Three even scoring lines, the Connolly line has looked good so far, brothers have good chemistry, though they never played together (for years). You can also tell Sallinen will be really good for us. Great player. Grönberg looked good in the end of last season, seems like he'll get a chance to prove himself.

Kapstad - Frögren
Svedberg - Connelly
Jacobsson - Gartner
Rönnberg

D looks very good IMO. Frögren and Jacobsson, who might not be the fastest skaters, will fit very good in our style. Connelly and Kapstad are both great skaters.

Not many games have been played yet though, so you can't draw too much, but I think we are looking at a fun season.

Andreas Johansson pursuing Nylander for HV71. A Nylander-Fiala line would be a treat to watch

I know that. I should have written "yes in a junior leauge perhaps". My point is that neither of them is any kind of superstars yet. Not even on SHL level.

They're both PPG players or close to it already, most likely. That's an SHL superstar.
